I'm a volunteering addict, occasionally a pet sitter, and the founder of an organization which aims to drive social change in Romania. I'm in my first year at UCL studying German, I successfully passed the Goethe Zertifikat C1 exam in German in 2020, and I also won the first place at the National Modern German Olympiad in Romania. As you might have guessed, I’m passionate about animals—I have three dogs at home who I absolutely adore! One of my proudest achievements is earning my black belt in karate in 2020, a milestone I reached alongside some of my closest friends. It was a memorable and rewarding experience for all of us. I’ve also climbed the UK’s Three Peaks before turning 18, which was both physically and mentally challenging, but incredibly fulfilling. Having completed most of my A-levels through online learning during lockdown, I understand firsthand the challenges students face in remote education.
