I am a 2nd year Cardiac Physiology student at the University of Leeds but originally I am from Kent. For A-level I studied Biology, Chemistry and Politics. I am fascinated by science, in particular human biology. I study the heart mainly at university and I also have a part time placement in the local hospital. In my free time, I love to cook and eat! I have recently started trampolining and boxing which allows me to get rid of any extra energy.

Hello! I am 19 years old and currently in my second year of studying Biological Sciences at Exeter University. I am very keen to tutor GCSE and A-Level Biology. I am particularly interested in animal health, but I do have an overall passion for all things Biology. I have over 10 years of experience in Education, learning, and development, teaching in both Primary and Secondary Schools. I specialise in teaching 11+, Social Sciences and prepping for national exams. I love helping students bridge the gap between what they currently know and what they need to know, by building confidence and resilience in their subject knowledge and approach to learning, especially in areas which they find particularly daunting. Engagement in learning is key. All lessons must be interactive to encourage learning and development. I encourage engagement through quizzes, questions, games, opinions, matching & sorting activities and use of mixed media. I adapt to different learning styles by meeting children where they are at, finding out what they currently know and using that information as a foundation to make learning accessible for them. I use assessments to track progress and plug gaps in their knowledge. My passion is to create successful learners who are able to achieve and exceed the goals they set for themselves. At A-Level, I studied Sociology (Grade A), Psychology (Grade B) and ICT (Grade C) at Southwark College. I then completed my BSc in Sociology and Criminology at City University, achieving a 2:1. I am a University of York Computer Science student originally from Australia but now living in York! I enjoy working with young people and have worked in a wide variety of primary and high schools across the Leeds area. In my spare time, I enjoy playing on games on my Nintendo Switch and have even built my own computer! Completed my UK A-Levels in Computer Science, Psychology and Maths achieving AAB respectively.
