I am currently in my final year studying medicine. I’m a dedicated tutor committed to making learning approachable, engaging, and tailored to each student’s unique style. As a student myself, I understand how challenging learning can feel so my goal is to make learning easier and help students feel more prepared and motivated. I completed my GCSEs at Bourne Grammar School, achieving excellent results that reflected my dedication to academic success. After that, I went on to complete my A-levels at The King's (The Cathedral) School. I’m now in my final year of medical school, continuing to build on my passion for medicine, patient care and personal development.

I take pleasure in introducing myself. I'm Taha, an engineer by education and a teacher by passion. I'll be commencing my master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in fall 22. Apart from science and engineering, I have diverse interests like perfumes, a healthy diet, coffee making, gadgets, and technology. My hobbies are perfume collection, swimming, hiking, and books. My fav book is The Alchemist. My expertise is wide and will cover mostly the entire curriculum of maths, physics, and chemistry. Math - Algebra, Mensuration, Surds, Sets, Functions, Probability and Statistics, Graphical methods, Matrices, Quadratic Equations, Binomials, Polynomials, Co-ordinate geometry 2D and 3D, Circles, Parabola, Hyperbola, Ellipse, Trigonometry, Properties of triangles, Limits, Differentiation, Integration, Vector Calculus and Differential Equations, Laplace and Inverse Laplace, Fourier Analysis and Partial Differential Equations. Physics - Kinematics, Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Electro Dynamics, Electricity and Magnetism, Quantum and Nuclear physics, Optics, Material Science, Oscillations, and Vibrations. I can handle all the topics effortlessly from basic to advanced levels. I can prepare students for 11+ test as well. I have experience in tutoring math, physics, chemistry, and engineering subjects. I am a subject matter expert in advanced physics and a textbook solver of differential equations at Chegg. Teaching is my passion, and I strongly believe it's more than just teaching the book knowledge; it's building a connection and listening to the students' needs. Some need direction, a gentle push, or continuous supervision. Every child is unique and great in their own way. I have been tutoring and mentoring for the past 6 years. I possess brilliant mathematical skills and analytical techniques. Prior to the fall of 21, I started my master's at Sapienza University of Rome, due to the pandemic, I had to discontinue the course.

I am confident in my abilities to teach subjects such as Maths and Physics to the age groups of primary up until GSCE level, having experience with exam boards such as AQA and Edexcel. Languages: I can speak conversational Bengali and fluent English. I obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering with First Class Honours at the undergraduate level, and look forward to studying a postgraduate course in MSc Advanced Chemical Engineering with Energy at the University of Birmingham. Things I like to do in my spare time include training regularly at the gym because I am a massive fan of fitness, and I have a guilty pleasure of watching anime shows (which are NOT cartoons :D ) and watching Formula 1. And a weird thing about me is that I go by another name (Nahid) which my friends and family call me, but you can be my friend also so you call me what you find easy to remember :) I received a Grade B in Chemistry, C in Maths and C in Physics at A-Level, which allowed me to be accepted onto a course I really enjoyed in Chemical Engineering BEng at Aston University. At GCSE, Maths and Science were my favourite subjects and I achieved Grade A's for both of these subjects and a Grade B in Further Maths.

Hello! I'm Maddy, I'm 23 years old currently completing my Master's in Public Health at Cardiff University. I completed my undergraduate degree in Population Health and Medical Sciences at Swansea University, where I obtained First Class Honours. My hobbies and interests include health and fitness... primarily because I also love to bake. I also enjoy reading and socializing with friends! My guilty pleasures include: binge watching TV series (usually the same ones over and over again) and scrolling through TikTok for hours on end. I can assure you that whilst I loved studying biology, it wasn't without its challenges. I have first hand experience in building confidence for both day-to-day lessons and preparing for all aspects of exams. I myself, was tutored for A-level Biology, an experience that proved invaluable in aiding my understanding and providing tools for self directed study across all subject areas. This transpired onto my further academic studying as well. I endeavor to not only aid in the learning of a subject but also reflect and teach these fundamental tools in the tuition I provide. It would be great to help another student, whatever their age or aspirations for their chosen subject may be. Subjects: Lower level: science GCSE: Biology, English Literature / Language A-level: Biology, Psychology

Outside academics, I am an optimistic, sporty individual. I have been playing American football for 6 years and counting, having the opportunity to represent Great Britain under 19s against Italy and France, and currently being on the adult roster to potentially play against Georgia and Spain. With such experiences, I volunteer frequently with my local club, London Blitz, and at Warwick University, which consists of mentoring and coaching, supplying me with the confidence to know I am capable of teaching individuals of all backgrounds, what I know. I find it very rewarding to be able to witness progression, knowing you played a role, and seeing how meaningful it can be for people. My education has predominantly focused on numbers, mathematics, science, and their applied usage, leading to the great opportunity of studying a Master of Engineering at the University of Warwick. During my 4 years here, I maintained a 2:1 grade while juggling sporting commitments. This degree enabled me to develop many skills and deepen my knowledge of the engineering industry, which makes me confident to tutor GCSE and A-level Mathematics and Physics. Before university, at GCSE and A-levels, I went to a local state school and managed to achieve a 9-9 in combined science and an 8 in mathematics at the GCSE level. At A-levels, I attained A*AAB in Mathematics, AS Further Mathematics, Physics, and Economics respectively, which was one of the best in the entire year.

New tutor

Medicine reject at A-level who decided to pursue biomedical sciences instead to explore several career routes in science. Upon further exploration through experiences in healthcare, decided to give medicine one more chance as a postgraduate degree and recieved an offer from Oxford for medicine. Interests include music, gaming and travelling. Tutoring GCSE and A-level Maths and Sciences for over 4 years helping over 40 students achieve their dream grades with a mean result improvement of 2 grades. I also assist in UK medical school admissions tests, personal statement writing and interviews (Oxbridge included). Physics tutoring to improve grades and self-confidence

Poor performance at school is often due to low self-confidence rather than a lack of effort or competence, a fact which is often overlooked. In addition, teachers at school rarely have time to stop a lesson and repeat the concepts for those who didn’t understand, leading students to fall behind in their work.

This is where a private physics tutor can step in. They can explain topics in different ways and adapt their teaching style to suit each student.

Physics tuition allows students to take their time and ask questions about concepts they are not sure of. This leads to increased confidence in their abilities and better results in their exams.

The advantages of studying physics

Physics is a branch of physical science that involves the study of matter and its motion and behaviour through time and space, along with related concepts such as energy and force. It is the foundation of many scientific subjects and is a fundamental area of research when it comes to understanding the universe.

A sound knowledge of physics can give access to a number of different careers, such as:

  • Business analyst
  • Data analyst
  • Engineer
  • Patent attorney
  • Physicist
  • Physics researcher
  • Physics teacher or professor
  • Programmer
  • Project manager
  • Scientist

In fact, following the completion of a bachelor's degree in physics, many people go on to study disciplines such as business, law or medicine. Generally, a technical background in physics is useful in any profession that combines science with another field.
