Hi everyone, I’m Barnaby. I’m currently studying for a Master of Physics at the University of Oxford, having graduated with a first-class Bachelor’s in Physics in 2025. Before university, I achieved A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry, finishing top of my school in both Maths and Physics. Beyond academics, I have a wide range of interests. Most recently, I wrote and directed my own musical, which I took to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2025. I also work as a group leader at High 5 Sports and Activities Holiday Camp, where I look after children aged five to fourteen. I'm currently a doing my Master of Physics at the University of Oxford having achieved a First in my undergraduate physics degree at Oxford. I have a PhD in physics from Newcastle University. I was a visiting researcher at the University of Cambridge and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). I am therefore highly qualified to teach STEM subjects. I have extensive experience (100 hours) teaching Maths to GCSE students online. I have also taught Physics and Maths to A Level students for several years during summer schools. I have also led modules for undergraduate students in Physics at all stages. I am a former research scientist and now a professional tutor, and I offer tuition in biology, physics and chemistry GCSE and chemistry A level. I employ a steady pace with the student and frequently return to previously covered material to reinforce understanding. Hello, my name is Aasim. I am currently a medical student aspiring to one day become an orthopaedic surgeon. I went to secondary school and sixth form in London , after which I took a gap year and started Medicine at university afterwards. During my gap year I spent time working as an HCA at the Royal London Hospital as well as tutoring some of my family friends' children for chemistry and maths. I also spent a fair amount of time pursuing my own hobbies and interests such as drawing, reading, MMA and football which I try to play once a week with my friends. I like to incorporate visual aids in my lessons as I, myself, am a very visual learner. I also like to maintain a light-hearted environment when teaching my students, often employing humour during my lessons as I feel that it can make the student more relaxed and enables them to learn and absorb concepts in a stress-free environment. After covering a particular topic, I often go through questions together with students so that they can apply their knowledge in a practical setting which is what they will have to do in their exams after all. I’m a 21 year old dental student studying in Bulgaria. I’ve taught students in the past, mainly during their GCSEs and A Levels, and I’m really excited to start teaching again. I’ve always been passionate about helping others learn because not only does it allow me to support students in building their confidence and understanding but it also strengthens my own knowledge. Outside of teaching, I love baking, painting, and playing sports like badminton :) I attended Nower Hill High School for both GCSEs and A-Levels.
