Obtaining my MD degree from the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland has been a transformative journey, equipping me with a diverse array of skills and experiences. Throughout my medical education, I've not only delved deep into the intricacies of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology but also honed invaluable skills such as communication, empathy, and problem-solving. As a medical student, effective communication has been paramount in every aspect of my training. Whether it's conducting patient interviews, collaborating with colleagues, or presenting cases, I've learned to articulate complex medical information with clarity and compassion, fostering understanding and trust in healthcare settings. Moving away from home forced me to become a resilient and adaptable individual and I’m forever grateful for my time in Poland. Beyond academia, my professional journey has been multifaceted. Working as a Healthcare Assistant in various nursing homes, I've gained hands-on experience in providing holistic care and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to support patients' needs. My time in retail and warehouse roles at Sainsbury's and Amazon respectively has further enhanced my adaptability and work ethic. These experiences have instilled in me essential skills such as time management, organization, and customer service, which are invaluable in any professional/tutoring setting. Furthermore, my extensive volunteer work reflects my commitment to community service and making a positive impact. Whether it's providing first aid with St. John Ambulance, assisting children with special educational needs and disabilities as a Classroom Assistant, or supporting the elderly at an Age Concern Centre, I've consistently demonstrated a dedication to serving others with empathy and compassion. Overall, my education and experiences have shaped me into a well-rounded individual, ready to excel in any challenge I undertake

Hello! My name is Shruti and I have always been fascinated by technology and how it shapes the world we live in. I have a strong passion for mathematics and science. I enjoy the challenges of solving complex problems and finding different solutions, which strengthen analytical thinking as well as problem-solving skills. I believe this is very important because it helps us to understand problems better and enables us to break them down into smaller, more manageable parts, which is also very crucial to learn. This also allows us to evaluate options logically instead of just guessing. Alongside this, I love listening to music. Listening to different genres helps me to relax and stay motivated; it also enhances my focus, concentration and memory. For me, music also works by blocking out distractions and creating a very steady rhythm for the brain to follow, which further increases my level of concentration. I also enjoy learning different languages because I believe this helps with connecting to different people from diverse backgrounds. Cognitively, learning a new language strengthens memory, problem-solving skills, as well as concentration. Altogether, these skills helped me to build confidence and independence. Therefore, I became better at explaining new ideas clearly and in an easily understandable way. I also became better at learning new things and finding solutions quickly to different problems. This is extremely essential in fields like engineering and tutoring! Throughout my academic years, I have attended Queen Mary's High School, and after that, I attended Queen Mary's Grammar School for sixth form. Currently, I am a first year Computer Engineering Student at the University of Birmingham.During my school years and university so far, I have completed assignments, projects which have helped me to develop my analytical thinking skills and experience explaining difficult concepts easily. Furthermore, I have also done mentoring before in school, where I was teaching maths to a GCSE student, and this also enabled my skills to improve and gave me more experience of teaching.

Hi, I’m Eva! I’m 19 years old and currently studying Business Management at the University of Nottingham, where I’m about to begin my second year. I’m passionate about learning, personal development, and helping others achieve their goals, which is why I’m excited to offer online tutoring. During my A-levels, I studied Business, Law, and Physical Education. These subjects gave me a strong understanding of how businesses operate, how the legal system supports organisations and individuals, and the importance of teamwork, discipline, and communication. Having recently completed these qualifications myself, I understand the challenges students can face and know how valuable clear explanations and supportive guidance can be. Alongside my studies, I play netball for the University of Nottingham. Netball has been a huge part of my life, and I love everything about the sport. It has taught me important skills such as teamwork, resilience, leadership, and time management, all of which I bring to my tutoring sessions. Balancing university studies with competitive sport has also helped me develop excellent organisation and commitment. Outside of university, I’m a proud Liverpool FC supporter and enjoy keeping up with football. I also love spending time with my friends, whether that’s exploring new places, socialising, or simply relaxing after a busy week. As a tutor, my aim is to create a positive, friendly, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence. I believe everyone learns differently, so I tailor my approach to suit each individual’s needs and learning style. Whether you’re looking for help understanding difficult topics, preparing for exams, or improving your overall confidence in Business or Law, I’m committed to helping you reach your full potential. I know from my own experience how rewarding it is to have someone who explains things clearly and offers support when learning becomes challenging. I hope to be that person for my students, making lessons enjoyable, engaging, and productive while helping them achieve the best results they can. At school I achieved 3 A*’s in Business Studies, Law and Physical Education. In Buisness I studied core areas such as marketing, HR, strategic decision making and finance, and particularly enjoyed applying theory to real life scenarios.
