I am currently a fourth year medical student at the University of Nottingham and hold a First Class Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree. I have been tutoring since my early high school years in a range of subjects and for a range of different academic abilities. My education ethos is to foster an enjoyment of understanding and success will follow. In terms of hobbies I'm a massive movie fan – that's basically how I spend 90% of my free time. I also really enjoy taking photos when I can and it doesn't take much for me to get stuck into a good book. I am in my penultimate year of Medical School at the University of Nottingham and hold a First Class Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree. In high school I took physics, chemistry, mathematics, history, biology, English and AP mathematics. I tutored peers and younger grades throughout high school in all these subjects. I achieved distinctions in all core subjects. I also have a B1 Certification in German, which I studied at the Goëthe Institut.

With experience in tutoring all the way up to Undergraduate level in Mathematics, Engineering and Physics, I can provide a high level of support and assistance in these fields. I am currently working towards a Doctorate in Engineering with the Universities of Exeter, Warwick, and Cranfield. After completing my A Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Geography, I completed a bachelor’s degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering achieving a First-Class degree in which I developed a smart electronic prosthetic system using soft robotics. Alongside my academic experience, I have developed a wide portfolio in my field. From industrial experience in Formula One to renewable energy generation, Artificial Intelligent systems and plant-based wetsuit designs, I am able to provide insights and the knowledge you need pursue Science and Engineering after your A Levels and GCSEs if you wish. I don’t just tutor and research all day either! I (try to!) surf as much as I can and I also work on various wildlife film projects, many being underwater shoots. I’m not here to judge you on your abilities. There are no stupid questions. I won’t be shouting equations at you. I like to work in a relaxed and supportive environment where we can focus on your needs and targets together while tailoring the sessions for you so that we can achieve our goals. During my time on Gostudent, I have clocked several hundred sessions, setup a purpose built tutoring desk environment with multiple cameras/ lighting to aid in tutoring and taken students from low confidence and little understanding to a point where some even chose to pursue their once hated subjects at higher level and are excelling at university/ new careers. I am confident in my tutoring abilities, have been recommended by multiple parents and become invested in my students to do the best they can. It saddens me to say I will no longer be taking any new students or trial sessions while Gostudent continue with their decision not to pay tutors for trial sessions MSc in Sustainable Materials BEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering During my time on Gostudent, I have clocked several hundred sessions, setup a purpose built tutoring desk environment with multiple cameras/ lighting to aid in tutoring and taken students from low confidence and little understanding to a point where some even chose to pursue their once hated subjects at higher level and are excelling at university/ new careers. Hi, I’m Sean Brown, a passionate and dedicated science teacher who enjoys making learning meaningful, engaging, and accessible to every student. I believe science is more than memorizing facts—it’s about understanding how the world works and developing curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. As a tech-savvy educator, I enjoy integrating digital tools, multimedia resources, visual aids, and interactive activities into my lessons to make challenging concepts easier to understand. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, exploring ideas, and learning at their own pace. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, major in Physical Sciences, which provided me with a strong foundation in Physics, Chemistry, and other areas of science, along with effective teaching strategies and classroom practices. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Education, majoring in General Science, further developing my knowledge and skills in science education.

I am a 3rd year biomedical engineering student at University College London. I come from an international background and I have been tutoring my whole life, since age 14 and pride myself on making sure that the way I teach is enjoyable and engaging. I love to chat with people so getting to know my student and what they enjoy is very important as a part of teaching. My hobbies are triathlon and goint to the gym. I also follow football very closely. I went to the English School of Kyrenia in the TRNC. It is an international school and therefore I did IGCSEs and International A Levels. I did my A Levels in Maths, Physics and Biology and achieved an A grade in all three as well as 8s and 9s in all of my IGCSEs. While at school I spent free time tutoring younger years. I now attend University College London and am in my third year of Biomedical Engineering. I have been tutoring 2 family friends aged 16 for their IGCSEs and I tutored my younger brother A Level Physics and Maths while balancing my university degree. My degree has a perfect balance of Maths, Physics, and Biology, making me feel confident that my knowledge is up to date and constantly developing, allowing me to tutor the subjects to a high level. Currently doing the subjects I tutor at a university level has allowed me to understand concepts on a deeper, core level and allow me to teach them at a fundamental level, rather than just memorisation.
