Hi. I'm Ade, a professional tutor with over 7 years experience with online tutoring. I have tutored well over 100 students (Grades 7 to 12) in Math & Science (Physics), helping improve their schoolwork and grades in GCSE, A-Levels, and IGCSE. I have a Bachelors degree in Geophysics, a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Education, and I'm currently doing a 2nd Degree in Physics. I keep my lessons simple, with a focus on consistent practice. I also tailor my lessons to fit the student and get the best out of them. Simply put, I help you understand the foundations of the concepts you're trying to learn, and we'll do LOTS of practice—improving your ability, speed, and confidence in solving problems. I am a learner, and I am very good at helping others learn. I obtained my first degree in the physical sciences - a bachelors degree in Geophysics - as I am very interested in how our planet functions in relation to other planets and our solar system as a whole. Afterwards, I obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) to hone my skills in helping others learn and achieve their academic goals. I am currently pursuing a 2nd degree in Physics.

My name is Syeda Ashfa Batool, I have very recently done my exams so i know the struggles of a hard working student. I want to use my experience and help other students excel in their exams using similar techniques that helped me. I also believe that everyones way of working is different so when we work together we will find what works best for you and help you do well in exams. Having delivered over 275 sessions I believed I have gained experience to work with a range of different students. Maths was one of my favourite subjects at school and even during college, so it is something I am looking forward to teaching most! My preferred age group is students doing their GCSEs or students in high school. Additionally, my age allows me to relate to students more easy and allows me to find common grounds to build a friendly mentor relationship. Some of my hobbies are reading books, cooking and meeting up with my friends :) I am a 2nd Year Medicine Student in the UK, pervious to this I took A-level Biology, Maths and Chemistry.

My journey as an engineering student has been full of exciting opportunities to apply maths and science to real-life projects. This fuels my enthusiasm when I teach, and I love sharing examples from my own work. Recently, I worked with TotalEnergies in France, exploring the valorization of desalination concentrate. One of my favorite projects was producing biodiesel from eggshells, which I showcase when discussing energy in physics. I also had a blast running STEM workshops in Dubai for kids. I'm an active member of AIChE and love participating in physics competitions. I won first prize in "Girls Got It" by building a mini robot with my team and creating a simple pendulum model. I'm passionate about science and STEM, and I strive to show my students how thrilling these subjects can be! My name is Karen, and I'm a dedicated tutor for maths and science. I've been tutoring for four years and hold a Master's degree in Industrial Chemistry and Petrochemical Engineering. I achieved A*/A grades at GCSE in mathematics and physics, and an A in A-Level maths. I've always enjoyed school and hope to share that passion with my students! I teach A Level maths and physics, and I also specialize in chemistry, French, maths, and physics at Lower Level and GCSE levels. I have a C1 level in French, a favorite hobby of mine since I started lessons at six. Over the years, I've become very familiar with the content and perfected my teaching methods to ensure the best results, no matter the time frame. Teaching is a true passion for me. It's incredibly fulfilling to help students achieve their goals, whether they love the subject or just need to pass.

Languages I am fluent in English and Urdu I can speak and understand Hindi and Punjabi SEND experience: I have experience of teaching students with ADHD and dyslexia Preferred Student Age Group I understand that one needs to adapt according to the student's age group- with primary year and middle year students you need to be very engaging and make the lessons as simple as possible whereas with GCSE and A-levels you can count on the student's foundational knowledge and use higher level of pedagogy. I mostly use powerpoint presentations to tutor KS3 students and while helping my students prepare for their 11+ exam, and it has proved to make lessons more engaging for them. Geraldine is an excellent tutor. She is very flexible with the schedule. She can teach both English and French Math and can easily switch with no issues. She has been very helpful and coordinating the progress to me. Smart lady and really nice. My son like her better than his Math teacher. He said he understands it better with Geraldine. I highly recommend her. But hopefully her schedule will not be super busy as she is really is a great pick. Planning on continuing with her tutoring my son up until he graduate high school.
