Hi I am Mary Jo and I love teaching! I have been tutoring 6th to 12th graders for many years, as well as adults, both in English and in Spanish. I enjoy the connection that is developed from teaching and sharing lessons, working on project works and exams. The challenge of helping a student realize their full potential, participate actively in the learning process and finally achieve top results, is one of the best experiences for me. Plans tailored to your interests, necessities and goals are important to reach those results. Hi, I'm Shannon. I'm originally from Northern Ireland but I have lived in Scotland, France, Spain and now I reside in sunny Manchester. I have taught English, French and Spanish in Secondary Schools for the last few years. I believe that teaching cultural aspects alongside language is vital and I find that using music and TV are excellent ways to stay engaged with a language too. I then went on to study Spanish and French at the university of Stirling. After spending time teaching English in France and Spain, I did my PGCE training in Liverpool. Hi I’m Sina, a maths student based in Manchester. I’m most confident in maths but I love history, biology, Spanish and many other subjects so I’d be happy to tutor in any of these. For my GCSE’s I took History and Spanish along with required subjects such as Triple Science and Maths and English Language. I was awarded six 9s, 2 8s and one 7 in these subjects and I’m most confident in Maths,Biology and Spanish. I went on to study A Level Maths and Further Maths and A Level Biology at Loreto Sixth Form and left with a A*AA (A* in Maths) in 2023. I’m now doing an undergraduate degree in Mathematics at the University of Manchester and am looking to use my experience to help students doing their GCSEs or A Levels.

I am an uni student who knows the current exam boards very well also someone who strives to achieve the best for myself and others. I started to teach Spanish 3 years ago and my students have excelled in their grades which I take great pride in. I specialize in Beginners to GCSE students from exam boards of AQA for Spanish and Edexcel, CIE for Geography, but other exam boards are manageable I have completed courses in leadership and counseling therefore I am able to be great leader in my style of teaching but also caring. I have completed my gold DOFE and I am completing my gold DOFE which has increased my leadership skills and adaptability.

I found my passion for teaching whilst living in Spain and decided that now is the best time to pursue a career I love.
