My name is Ellie, and I am a student at Newcastle University. Despite studying Accounting and Finance, I still love all things English and Maths. Whether I'm doing cryptic crosswords or sudokus, I believe that challenging your brain is the most entertaining activity. I’m a 4th-year medical student who enjoys finding a balance between academics and creativity. When I’m not studying or working on university projects, I love going to the beach to surfing. I also enjoy being on stage and taking part in theatre productions, as acting allows me to express myself in a completely different way. In quieter moments, I like to dabble in a bit of art through painting and crafts, and more recently I’ve started learning how to crochet, which has been both fun and rewarding. I’m also an animal lover, especially cats in particular. I enjoy using my creativity most when it comes to teaching, finding ways to make learning easier and, just as importantly, enjoyable. I believe that learning is not just about absorbing knowledge but also about building a skill that you can use throughout life I attended West Buckland School from Year 7 to Year 13, between September 2016 and July 2022. In 2020, I completed 10 GCSEs with grades ranging from 6 to 9, including a 7 in English and Physics, an 8 in Mathematics, and a 9 in both Biology and Chemistry. I then studied A-levels in Biology, Mathematics, and Chemistry, alongside completing an Extended Project Qualification. Now I am a 4th year medical student.

I am 19 years old taking a year out before going to study economics at university. I studied maths, physics and economics at A-level and got A*AA. I was captain of my first XV rugby team and have put on workshops for younger students so leading and helping peers is in my nature. Having recently left school, A-levels are fresh in my memory. I understand how a student wants to learn and what they may be struggling on in the syllabus. I attended Bradford Grammar School, where I was awarded a means-tested bursary in the 11+. I have 11 GCSEs and 3 A-levels all of equivalent grade A and above. Physics at A-level, in particular, forced me to work hard and be a critical thinker. I enjoyed the challenge of applying knowledge.

Hi! I'm a third year undergraduate student studying Physics at Imperial College London. I went to school in Northern Ireland but have tutored in England, so I have experience with multiple exam boards, CCEA, AQA, and Edexcel in particular. I tutor Maths and Physics and am looking forward to sharing my interest in these subjects. I studied 5 subjects at A-Level, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths, and French, and achieved 4 A*s and 1 A. I study Physics at university, which has helped me get a better understanding on not only Physics at A Level, but also more mathematical subjects like mechanics, statistics, and the applications of pure mathematics.
