Abdoul-razaq Yussuf Mbalamula
I am an engineering university student with a diverse educational background from different countries. Owing to my diverse experience, I am able to teach using varied curricula, adopt different systems, and incorporate appropriate approaches to meet the needs of the students. I am still a student, so I have first-hand experience with what students require from a student's perspective. Although I have around 3 years of experience working as a part-time tutor, both online and physical,  I have been tutoring as a volunteer for about 8 years now.  I have worked with students from different parts of the world of all levels and ages. Aside from teaching as a career, I am passionate about it because I aspire that "learning should be fun." I teach because I love it, because I enjoy it, and because I want to help the student improve in the most amusing way possible. As the saying goes "if you do what you love, you will do it with passion," and I am here to help the students realize that they love learning.

My name is Ed, and I am in my final year of my BEng Mechanical Engineering degree at the University of Manchester. I have been a tutor for more than two years, and I have provided more than 1000 sessions during this time - so I'm sure it's fairly evident, I love this job! I have also worked as an aerothermal engineer at Rolls-Royce, where I drastically improved the efficiency of computational simulations by re-coding the data output - my work will save the company a lot of money over the next several years. Outside of work, I love going to the gym and travelling. I play Xbox when I can, and I also learn languages as a hobby. Whilst I don't get to watch many games, I'm a big football fan too. My favourite movie is Interstellar; it's an absolute masterpiece. Subjects that I teach: GCSE: Maths, Further/Additional Maths A-level: Maths, Further Maths (mechanics pathway) Specialist areas: mechanics/dynamics, algebra, thermodynamics Please note - while I no longer offer physics on its own, I will happily provide physics sessions as an addition to maths tuition. Experience with: Primary, KS3, GCSE, A-level, BTEC (Engineering) Students that I teach: Year 9 - 13 Exam boards previously studied: Edexcel (GCSE maths), AQA (GCSE, A-level physics), OCR MEI B (A-level maths, further maths). I have taught Edexcel, AQA, and OCR across both maths and physics GCSE and A-level.

Greetings, pleased to e-meet you! I'm a devout maths and physics enjoyer. But don't be fooled by my academic pursuits, for I'm also a lover of history and all things fantastical! My heart beats with excitement for European history, with a dash of far east Asian flair, and I've got an insatiable thirst for knowledge on modern Turkey, Germany, and Russia! I've journeyed through different phases of history, from the grand days of the Roman Republic and the legendary tales of Julius Caesar, to the explosive French Revolution, and even the epic battles of the Napoleonic Wars. But my current quest is to uncover the secrets of the 20th Century, and I'm determined to discover its hidden treasures! And when I'm not busy unravelling the mysteries of time, you can find me wielding my mighty dice as the dungeon master (overseer of games) of Dungeons and Dragons! For over four years, I've crafted immersive campaigns in two worlds, filled with colourful characters and thrilling adventures! Consequently, I've even been imbued with the power to create spinning tales that will entrance and captivate all who read them! But that's not all, dear reader! My love for fantasy and strategy doesn't stop there! I've been enchanted by the epic adventures from Middle-Earth namely The Lord of the Rings since I was but a young hobbit (4ish), and my father's grand strategy games have taught me to master the art of video games. I still indulge in strategic games to this day, and chess is always a favourite. And let's not forget about music! My appreciation for classical music has led me down the path of the piano. With diligent practice, I've learned to play any song that tickles my fancy with ease. So, come on, let's embark on an adventure of a lifetime!
