**TSH** I work as a TSH due to my years of experience as a teacher and my ability to empathise with students of all ages, including primary school students. My strength lies in the Sciences to GCSE level; especially Biology which I can teach to A Level. I can make the student feel at ease and motivate them to learn more. I break down content which enables students to feel in control of their learning and responsible for it. I adapt to students needs and manipulate my teaching style to empower and engage the student. This makes the sessions fun and knowledgeable. Hi everyone! My name is Chloé Lusandu. I was born in Paris France and grew up on London UK. I speak French and English fluently. I Graduated with Honours in Biomedical Science in 2018. Since then, I have been teaching Advanced Biology in English to students who are learning English as a second language. It been a great experience learning from students while they learn from me! In my free time I enjoy reading, playing sports, learning new languages. I have recently been starting to learn Arabic, its quiet fun, but challenging pronouncing the letters. I also really love animals, some of my free time is spent entertaining my cat. I also play the piano (not very well :D), but it is something I learnt by myself and practiced in high school. The sports I have been enjoying lately are solo sports like roller skating, going to the gym in the mornings, swimming. However, I also like playing team sports. I was on a few sport teams when I was younger, like rounders and netball. I also spend a lot of my time catching up with family and friends, either on the phone/video call or watching something through Netflix party. Tutoring wise I am confident that I can support your learning in the sciences till GCSE at any age group. Subjects I specialize in till A Levels would be Biology. Whatever support you would require, whether that be content reviewing, help with your homework, or prepping for assignments/exams, or just improving your confidence in a subject I am here to support you!

Key Stage 3 Tutoring

Physics in Key Stage 3 covers topics such as energy changes and transfer, motion and forces, waves, and electricity. As Year 7, Year 8, and Year 9 progress, the material gets more challenging, and students are expected to manage larger workload. This can be overwhelming when it comes to Physics, but with the support of a good Physics tutor experienced with the Key Stage 3 curriculum, your child can stay on top of their work, perform well on tests, and gain confidence at school.

Exploring energy with Physics Key Stage 3 tutors

Across Key Stage 3, students will learn how energy works – from comparing the energy that comes from the sockets at home and school, to where that energy ultimately comes from in the earth. Students will also be introduced to energy as a quantity that can be measured and calculated, and tracking energy through different events and systems changes, such as heating an object or propelling an object across the room. While the concepts are simple, the underlying physics can take some time for students to get their heads around, and there isn’t always time in a classroom full of students to ask their questions. However, with a Physics tutor on hand, your child can work through the concepts at their own speed, and ask as many questions as they like.

What does motion mean and more, explained by Physics Key Stage 3 tutors

Students are introduced to the scientific definitions of speed, distance and time, and how scientists use them in formulae. They break down movements like turning a corner or the motion of a spring, into all the forces acting on the object throughout the movement, and learn what factors affect changes in motion. With the introduction of formulae, and elements like Hooke’s Law, some students will struggle with applying scientific language to everyday motion. Good thing Physics tutors are adept at working with different learning styles, and can try different approaches until they find what clicks for your child.

Go to space with Physics Key Stage 3 tutors

In Key Stage 3, students are introduced to space physics, which is both fascinating and complex. They will investigate how gravity works, the Earth’s gravitational field, and how it differs on other planets and stars. Students will also discuss the light year as an astronomical unit of measurement, how it was developed and how it is calculated. While some students find this topic fascinating, others might struggle with the math involved and the intangible nature of the calculations involved. A good Physics tutor can bring these concepts back down to earth and help every student make the right connections.
