I have been tutoring with GoStudent for a couple of months now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a former Sunday-School teacher and volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I won several prizes during my degree, including three prize scholarships and the Roy Porter Prize for History in my second year. Prior to my degree, I took three A-Levels in History, Maths and English, receiving all A*s, and prior to that, ten GCSEs, receiving all 9s.

I focus on building solid understanding, exam skills and confidence. I tailor every lesson to suit each students individual learning style and goals, whether they need to grasp difficult concepts, improve exams techniques or boost their grades. I create supportive and motivating environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and tackling challenges. My approach breaks down complex material into easy to follow steps, helping students not only to succeed in exams but also develop skills for lifelong learning. being a medical student helped me develop strong analytical skills and deep understanding of complex scientific concepts.My studies have equipped me with excellent problem solving abilities and the discipline required to succeed in demanding academic environments. Prior to medical school, I completed my A-levels/leaving certificate which gave me the first hand insight experience into challenges of GCSE/JC and A levels/LC enabling me to guide students effectively through their own exam preparations. My academic journey has also helped me develop effective study techniques and time management skills that i share with my students to help them improve their own learning.
