I found exams pretty scary in school but managed to get on top of those nerves, leaving me feeling equipped to support students preparing for exams. This year my students have already shown great improvements and I have continued supporting my long-term students, some of whom I have now been tutoring for 3 years! I am always happy to discuss progress and work on strategy with both parent and student and will adjust to the needs of both accordingly. My name is Santosh Gopalan, an I am a graduate from the University of Surrey with an Honours degree in Economics. As a friendly and approachable tutor, I am passionate bout helping students not just understand maths, but genuinely enjoy it. I believe that with the right guidance and encouragement, every student can excel - my goal is to build confidence alongside competence, ensuring my students are equipped to achieve the top grades. I have studied GCSE Maths and achieved grade 8. I have also studied A-Level Maths and achieved grade A. I have extensive knowledge of the AQA, Pearson Edexcel and OCR exam boards for both GCSE and A-Level maths. I am a graduate from the University of Surrey that has an Honor's degree in Economics.

My name is Katy and I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Politics & Modern History. I have been living in Spain & France so am fluent in both languages whilst tutoring to a wide range of ages for the past few years. I am calm, interactive and experienced and enjoy working with students to help achieve their goals. I am TEFL certified, and have plenty of experience with all GCSE & A level examination boards. With regards to languages, I am able to support students in all aspects of exam preparation, from reading & writing to speaking & listening. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Modern History & Politics from the University of Manchester in 2021, where I specialised in Russian & Chinese history, as well as Modern African history, whilst including modules in advanced Spanish. I completed the International Baccalaureate where I studied a range of subjects including History, Spanish, French, English literature, Physics and Maths.

I have availability for students Mondays and Wednesdays daytimes only. I also work with students on a weekly basis at a minimum to ensure momentum and consistency for the student. I have been an educator and trainer for over 17 years and love nothing more than seeing students achieve their goals. I am a scuba diving instructor as my main role and work all over the world. I enjoy watching Netflix and love diving even when I am not in work. I have been lucky to see a lot of the world through all my roles during my career. I tutor 11+, English up to the end of year 9 only and also tutor mathematics and science up to GCSE. I have knowledge of all UK countries curriculum and also the German curriculum. I myself completed the 11+ equivalent when younger and understand the commitment and learning that is needed to succeed. My favourite subjects in school were maths, science and physical education. I am also experienced in working with children with additional learning needs.
