Hi! I’m Mehmood,20 years old and currently studying medicine (MBBS) at Hull York Medical School. While I absolutely love studying, I have many other passions that burn just as brightly — I’m into sports, gym, and cycling, and I’m always open to trying new ones! Some cool facts about me: I speak English, Pashto and Urdu. Also, I have a 4-year-old ta I attended St. Peter's RC High School in Gorton, where I studied separate sciences, business, geography, religious studies, and core subjects, achieving 6 grade 9s and 3 grade 8s. I then studied biology, psychology, and chemistry at Loreto Sixth Form College, earning A*AB in my A-levels. During my medical school application, I achieved a UCAT score of 2750 Band 1, securing four medical school interviews and ultimately firming Hull York Medical School—where I am currently studying medicine (MBBS). Alongside my academic journey, I’ve been a private tutor for the past two years, helping students build confidence and achieve top grades in science and math. I also completed a 3-week teaching internship at COOP Academy, delivering science lessons to Year 8 and 9 students. Additionally, I’ve gained valuable clinical experience working in GP practices and hospital settings, consulting with patients and developing strong communication and empathy skills. My educational background reflects a strong foundation in science and a passion for teaching. I’m excited to share the strategies and insights that helped me succeed and to support students in reaching their full academic potential.

I have 10+ years of teaching experience at school level, academies and online classes. To help my students out with their queries and bringing them out of grey zones is my utmost priority. My hobbies include working out, football and research. I believe that physical activity is very important for our mental health and it also helps us in making better decisions. On the other hand, I am constantly trying to research new studies and theories as learning is not restricted to a certain age group rather it is for all of us until we can still breathe. I completed my GCSE's at Maria Fidelis Catholic FCJ school in 2023/24. Achieving Maths (7), English (8), Chemistry (7). I have actually just sat my A-levels at Trinity Catholic High school where I am predicted A*AA in Mathematics, Chemistry and Psychology.

Hello, my name is Alex. I am a first year student studying Economics at the University of Leeds. In my spare time, I like to play football, as well as go to the gym and go out with my friends. I also enjoy watching football, and I support Manchester United. I have tutored 6 different students over the past 2 years for GCSE maths, with a variety of skill levels, but all of them achieving their target grades or higher. I went to Sir John Lawes School for both secondary school and sixth form. I achieved 5 8s and 5 9s in my GCSEs and A* A* A at A level. I’m now studying Economics BSC at the University of Leeds. I have always been passionate for maths and it has been both my strongest and favourite subject throughout my entire school life. I won the KS3 maths award.
