My journey as an engineering student has been full of exciting opportunities to apply maths and science to real-life projects. This fuels my enthusiasm when I teach, and I love sharing examples from my own work. Recently, I worked with TotalEnergies in France, exploring the valorization of desalination concentrate. One of my favorite projects was producing biodiesel from eggshells, which I showcase when discussing energy in physics. I also had a blast running STEM workshops in Dubai for kids. I'm an active member of AIChE and love participating in physics competitions. I won first prize in "Girls Got It" by building a mini robot with my team and creating a simple pendulum model. I'm passionate about science and STEM, and I strive to show my students how thrilling these subjects can be! My name is Karen, and I'm a dedicated tutor for maths and science. I've been tutoring for four years and hold a Master's degree in Industrial Chemistry and Petrochemical Engineering. I achieved A*/A grades at GCSE in mathematics and physics, and an A in A-Level maths. I've always enjoyed school and hope to share that passion with my students! I teach A Level maths and physics, and I also specialize in chemistry, French, maths, and physics at Lower Level and GCSE levels. I have a C1 level in French, a favorite hobby of mine since I started lessons at six. Hi! My name is Nikitah. I am currently studying Medicine (4th year) at Newcastle University. I have also completed a BSc degree in Biomedical Sciences from Durham University (2.1). I have 5 years of tutoring experience, and the subjects I teach are: English, Maths, Science (all 3 Sciences), 11+, degree level Biology/Biomedical Sciences/Biochemistry, UCAT/GAMSAT/BMAT. I have worked at several learning centres, and taught online- both 1:1 and group settings. I have taught students from a range of schools such as Harrow School. My most recent achievement is helping a Physics GCSE student increase their grade from a 6 to a 9. I myself hold 6 A*'s and 8 A's at GCSE (I achieved the highest GCSE grades in my year), and also 3 A grades in Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A-Level, A* in Extended Project and A in AS-Level History. I am very dedicated and committed. I will create tailor-made lesson plans for each student and also set regular homework for them to complete between sessions, which I will then mark and provide feedback.
