Hi! My name is Amy and I’m currently studying Maths and Philosophy at the University of Leeds. I am a Maths tutor aiming to help students between KS2 and GCSE level to enjoy and understand Maths. Beyond studying, I have a passion for dancing and love to perform on stage. When I am not dancing, I also love to solve puzzles and riddles. Initially, I attended All Saints Primary School. Then, I went to Greenbank High School and received 11 GCSEs with grades ranging from 7-9. I took a mix of GCSE subjects from Dance and Drama to History and Further Maths. After High School, I attended Runshaw College. I completed A-levels in Maths, Psychology and English Literature and earned grades AAC. I also completed an AS-level in Further Maths and earned a grade C. I am currently completing a BSc Maths and Philosophy honours degree programme at the University of Leeds. I have completed my second year and will hopefully be graduating in the summer of 2026.

I am an experienced tutor who teaches mostly Maths and Physics. Very much approachable and amiable in nature, I have taught a wide variety of students with mixed capabilities and skills. My teaching style involves getting with the pace of my students and being flexible. I hold Bachelor degree in Engineering with specialisation in Electrical and Electronics. At pre-university I took Maths as additional subject along with Physics, Chemistry and Science (Zoology and Biology) Post degree, I started my specialisation in computer network engineering and voice/video applications. I held CCIE in networking from Cisco.

I am passionate about teaching Maths because I enjoy helping students see that Maths is not something that is impossible but with help even the most complex topics can be broken down simply. It is especially nice when students come back to you with better results more confidence and a big smile. I can teach Mathematics for A-Levels and below. Big fan of football, cricket (which I play competitively for a club in the Surrey Leagues), video games and recently F1 I would like to preferably tutor students in secondary school, however I am open for Primary school students as well. Hi! I'm Archie and I'm a GCSE, iGCSE, AS Level and A-Level maths tutor currently studying Mathematics and Finance at university with a current first prediction. I truly enjoy tutoring students who struggle with maths and specialise in improving predicted grades. I used to struggle with maths when I was younger but that's because I didn't understand it and now I do I'm planning on pursuing a career in it and would love to help other students get to the same level that I'm at. I attended Haileybury as my secondary school where I gained 10 GCSEs gaining 7s, 8s, and 9s and I studied maths, physics and computer science at a-level get ABB respectively. I am now at the University of York studying mathematics and finance with a current first class prediction. I specialise in improve predicted grades by studying and fully understanding the mark schemes. My favourite maths topics are calculus, mechanics, and trigonometric functions.
