I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I believe that learning should be fun and encourage a holistic development. I enjoy reading and hiking. I also enjoy trying out different kinds of food. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017. I further enrolled at the University of KwaZulu Natal for my BEd Degree and specialized in the Foundation Phase. I am currently a Foundation Phase teacher and teach Grade 1 learners. I am also currently studying for my Honors Degree at the University of Pretoria specializing in Learner Support.

Since joining GoStudent back in April 2023, I’ve had the incredible privilege of tutoring for over two years — and what a journey it has been! In that time, I’ve not only grown as a teacher but also as a communicator, motivator, and lifelong learner. My lessons are anything but “one-size-fits-all.” Every session is designed to spark curiosity, encourage outside-the-box thinking, and make learning genuinely enjoyable. I love giving students (and their families) the chance to shape the direction of our lessons — because when learning feels personal, progress happens naturally. For me, the most rewarding part of tutoring is watching students go from “I can’t” to “I can.” Whether it’s tackling tricky topics, preparing for exams, or simply rediscovering a love for learning, I’m here to celebrate every step forward and keep that momentum going. I studied at the UCL School of Pharmacy, where I am currently preparing to sit my final MPharm exams following a recent gap period. In October 2022, I proudly graduated with a First-Class MSci in Pharmaceutical Studies, a course that challenged me academically while also sparking my curiosity for problem-solving and research. Beyond the textbooks, I’ve always believed that learning should be creative and enjoyable. That’s why you’ll often find me making colourful, artsy study notes (which are slowly turning into a revision blog!), or bringing a creative twist into my lessons to help tricky concepts click. My education hasn’t just been about exams and grades — it’s also taught me how to stay curious, resilient, and open-minded, and I try to pass that on to every student I work with.

Hi, I’m Anie Jo, a licensed professional teacher and TEFL-certified educator with a passion for teaching English and Biology! I love creating a fun, supportive space where students feel confident exploring language and literature. My goal is to make learning exciting through interactive lessons while building curiosity, cultural awareness, and strong communication skills. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, majoring in English, and I’m currently pursuing my master’s degree to deepen my expertise. With three years of teaching experience—two as a private tutor, one in ESL, and six months as a secondary teacher—I’ve learned to adapt to different learning styles and create engaging, personalized lessons that make learning enjoyable!

Hello, I'm Daryl, a passionate educator dedicated to teaching English and Mathematics. I aim to connect with students, helping them understand the application of these subjects and appreciate their beauty and relevance in their daily lives. I ensure my students are engaged, from lesson objectives to feedback. I believe that meaningful connections foster a love of learning and establish independent study habits for life. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics. My teaching experiences include Elementary and Junior High School English and Mathematics, as well as Economics. I also lead a small music band, teaching children to play the drums and guitar, performing at school events. Through these experiences, I've learned to cater to multiple learning styles and communicate effectively with students.
