I am currently a university student studying BA International Relations at SOAS, university of London. I grew my passion for teaching through helping my friends and classmates with revision and I enjoy explaining ideas by linking it to reality, making it relatable. I am patient, friendly, and aim to create a supportive and comfortable environment where students feel confident to ask questions, develop their understanding, and build confidence in their learning. I am currently attending SOAS, University of London, and studying BA International Relations. My modules focus on politics and history, specifically from a postcolonial perspective. Hi! I’m Akhshaya, and my passion for teaching has grown since secondary school. I’ve taught at two tutoring centres, where I gained experience supporting students with a wide range of abilities, learning styles and learning difficulties. I’m passionate about making tricky concepts feel simple and helping students build confidence step by step. I am a second‑year Biomedical Engineering student at King’s College London, where I study modules such as Medical Physics, Clinical Engineering, and Professional Issues in Biomedical Engineering. My academic background combines strong analytical skills with a passion for STEM education. Hi, I’m Jeane! I’m a passionate English teacher who loves helping students connect with literature and language in fun and creative ways. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me watching movies on Netflix and making sure I hit my 10,000 steps every day, which keeps me energized and motivated throughout the day. I am a Physical Therapy graduate and have completed a Teaching & Demo course with New York Universities as an international student. My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in teaching strategies, language, and literature. Through my studies, I developed the ability to design well-structured lessons that cater to individual students’ needs. After finishing my TEFL course and got certified, I gained experience in creating engaging activities and incorporating real-world examples to enhance student comprehension and make an interactive, enjoyable learning experience.
