Hi! My name is Fatima and I’m a passionate and experienced tutor specialising in Science, Maths, and English for KS3, GCSE, and A-Level students. I’m currently a final year university student, and outside of academics, I enjoy reading fiction, especially classic literature and psychological thrillers. I also love creative writing and exploring different ways to explain complex ideas in simple terms, which is one of the reasons I enjoy tutoring. I’d describe myself as being supportive, patient, and curious, and I’m always up for discovering new things or helping others do the same. I achieved A*s and As in Science, Maths, and English at GCSE, and an A in A-Level English Literature. I’ve been tutoring since 2020, and I’ve delivered over 400 online lessons through platforms like MyTutor and private tutoring. I specialise in Science, Maths, and English for KS3, GCSE, and A-Level, with a strong focus on building subject understanding, exam technique, and academic confidence. I’ve supported students with a wide range of needs and abilities and helped many achieve significant improvements in their grades.

I teach English Literature and English Language to GCSE aged students. I also teach English as a foreign language to both children and adults. I teach English to French students and can speak conversational French to aid this. I tutor students working towards their IELTS qualification I have a Masters in Mental and Moral Science (Philosophy) from Trinity College, Dublin and am looking to further my formal education in the coming years aside from the countless MOOCs I've taken ranging from Opera to Counter-Terrorism classes. I enjoy Creative Writing and am always penning stories or poetry. I have lived all over the world, love traveling and exploring and look forward to learning how we can incorporate your personal experiences and passions into your studies. I currently live in the South of France with my two young children.

I'm Mae Concepcion Tejano, and I'm excited to be part of your journey to mastering English! With a TEFL certification and a degree in English, I bring over five years of experience teaching GCSE and A Level students from various backgrounds and skill levels. I graduated with a degree in Juris Doctor, or Doctorate of Law, a program that not only honed my legal expertise but also provided a broad and strong foundation in various disciplines such as teaching methods, linguistics, literature, politics, and Philippine history. Through my studies, I gained an understanding of the intersection between law and society, which enhanced my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively. In addition to the legal coursework, I learned essential pedagogical skills that have proven invaluable in various teaching environments. I’m currently a medical student and I really like passing my knowledge to young people and helping them achieve the goals that they want. I aspire to create a safe, friendly environment for students, where they can ask me for help whenever. With a deep passion for education, I strive to instil not only knowledge but also critical thinking skills and confidence in my students. I attended Southend High School for Girls and completed my GCSEs there. For A levels,I moved to Southend High School for Boys. Currently i am a medical student at the University of Nottingham. I have about a year of tutoring experience from beforehand, and i have worked at ExploreLearning for a few months.
