I am a Qualified Teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching Mathematics to students of all levels. Edexcel, AQA, OCR (most material is common to all exam boards). I am currently working as a Mathematics teacher at a school in the U.K. In my previous roles, I taught mathematics and coding. I have also tutored students at various levels, from elementary school to college. I am very well aware of the Mathematics curriculum and always look for new and engaging ways to teach it. Hi, I’m Maite! I’m a native German speaker and teach German at all levels — Primary, GCSE, and A-Level. Besides German and English, I also speak French and Spanish. I hold a BA in Cultural Studies with a minor in Educational Science, which deepened my understanding of cross-cultural learning, communication, and how to make complex ideas accessible. During my time at university, I spent over three years tutoring children of different ages, working in a programme led by the German federal government to support children from migrant and refugee backgrounds in their school learning. I am now excited to work with adults as well. When I think back to my own school years, the teachers who inspired me most were those whose honest passion made even my least favourite subjects enjoyable. That’s the atmosphere I aim to create in my lessons: engaging, light, and enjoyable. Outside tutoring, I teach meditation and mindfulness and support a charity creatively, which helps me bring patience, flexibility, and creativity into my teaching. I tailor lessons to each student — whether you need grammar support, speaking practice, exam preparation, or a personalised lesson to build confidence at your own pace, or simply want to learn German out of interest and enjoyment. In addition, I hold a Yoga Alliance–approved 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certificate, complemented by an additional 50 hours of training in meditation.

I hold a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, specializing in Industrial Chemistry and Petrochemistry. I achieved A/A grades* in GCSE Mathematics and Physics and an A in A-Level Maths. My strong academic background allows me to explain complex topics clearly and confidently turning challenges into achievable goals for my students! I teach GCSE and A-Level Maths, Chemistry, Physics, and French. Having grown up with my mother, a French teacher, and spent several years in France during my engineering projects, I’ve spoken French from an early age and now hold a C1 level, making it one of my favorite subjects to teach! Over the years, I’ve developed personalized teaching strategies to help every student succeed, whether they’re aiming for top grades or simply need a confidence boost. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, going on walks, swimming, and spending time with friends and family. Before starting medicine, I completed A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics, which gave me a strong foundation in scientific knowledge, problem-solving, and exam technique.
