Hello. I'm Debs, nice to meet you. I tutor a range of subjects, all based on experience of teaching within school, college and less tradiitional settings. I love tutoring one to one as that is the best way to give the student exactly what they need. I teach Sociology, Business and English at GCSE and A level and I have experience of AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I have also taught Btec Business level 1-3 In 2023 I completed a Master's degree in Philosophy as I love learning new things just as much as I love to teach. I make learning fun wherever possible and tailor every lesson to the student's needs. I use a variety of methods so you won't get bored and I am always happy to answer questions and re-explain things. There's no such thing as a silly question! I appreciate people who try, no matter what their ability is, and i love seeing people achieve things that they never dreamed they could. Let me help you do that. Outside of work I enjoy reading, walking, cycling, and making art and fabric items which I sometimes sell at craft fairs. I sometimes pet-sit two very friendly dogs. Hi, My name is Ade. I enjoy seeing people thrive and develop in any way, shape or form. I enjoy making a difference. I’m someone who’s deeply passionate about personal growth and helping others reach their full potential. I have a solid educational background, which has provided me with valuable insights and knowledge. Alongside my academic achievements, I’m also dedicated to fitness and regularly attend the gym to maintain both my physical and mental well-being. I believe that self-improvement extends beyond the gym – it’s about empowering others to enhance their lives, whether through motivation, guidance, or simply offering a supportive hand when needed. I have a strong academic foundation, holding a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design and a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, this has not only provided me with in-depth knowledge of design, Mathematics, and creative problem-solving, but also a deep appreciation for the intersection of Art, English, Science, and functionality. Throughout my academic journey, I developed a passion for education and a love for helping others reach their potential. In addition to my degree, I have gained valuable experience working as a Teaching Assistant across a variety of subjects, such as English and Science including Mathematics. I have also worked as a TA for other subjects as mentioned, where I supported students with learning difficulties, provided additional help during lessons, and guided individuals in areas where they needed extra assistance. I find great satisfaction in seeing students progress and develop their skills, and I continue to be inspired by the positive impact education has on people's lives. For the past seven years I've guided teenagers through reading, writing, speaking and listening, with lessons built around exactly what they're examined on (AQA specification). Before tutoring, I worked as a journalist — and it shaped how I teach: I break grammar down the way I'd break down a complex story, clearly and without jargon, always checking it's landed before moving on.
