Hi I am Iqra, 4th year Medical Student at the University of Nottingham. I achieved highly during GCSE and Alevels. I can tutor both A-level and GCSE biology and Chemistry. I also have a degree in Biomedical sciences (Bmedsci) I am friendly , approachable and keen to help students accomplish the best results. I will keep lessons fun and interesting keeping students engaged at all time. I will help tackle your weaknesses and help improve the exam technique. Having gone through many Alevel and GCSE past papers myself for both AQA and OCR exam boards I understand the exam techniques and certain patterns in exam questions. I also create personalised progress trackers for all my students which they can use during both their personal studies and in my lessons as well. Having recently gone through my Alevels whilst also applying for medical school, I understand it can be a very stressful time. I will make sure my students are heard, by regularly checking in with them to make sure they are making the most of our lessons. I will conduct regular quizzes to help make students knowledge and exam technique stronger. I will also give tips on how they can manage their time effectively in their biology and chemistry exams. I have great enthusiasm and interest in biology and I believe it has always been my strength. I have been teaching since 6 years in the field of Mathematics from Primary Level to A-Level. But in 2020, i switched to online mode of teaching to reach the students across the globe. I love to teach the topics through practical examples so students can connect to the real world problems. I always try to create a friendly atmosphere in the classroom so that studies wouldn't seem like a burden. I'm highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated educator who wants all children to be successful learners. I have three degrees ; Masters in Mathematics, Bachelor in Mathematics (honours) and Bachelor in Education. Because of the love in the subject, I can't keep myself away from it. I am entering my third year of General Engineering at the University of Sheffield, specialising in Systems & Control. I tutor Maths and Physics and enjoy breaking own complex topics, into clear, simple steps. I have always loved helping others understand what I have learned, and I am passionate about creating a friendly, supportive learning space where students can build confidence and reach their goals. I am patient, encouraging, and dedicated to making lessons engaging and effective. I completed my A Levels in Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Engineering at UTC Sheffield achieving AAA and a Distinction* in Engineering. I am currently studying for an integrated Master's in General Engineering (MEng) at the University of Sheffield. I am entering my third year in September in which I will be specialising in Systems & Control. My studies cover a wide range of topics including mechanics, thermodynamics, electrical circuits, computing, programming, control theory etc.

I’m currently a medical student and I really like passing my knowledge to young people and helping them achieve the goals that they want. I aspire to create a safe, friendly environment for students, where they can ask me for help whenever. With a deep passion for education, I strive to instil not only knowledge but also critical thinking skills and confidence in my students. I attended Southend High School for Girls and completed my GCSEs there. For A levels,I moved to Southend High School for Boys. Currently i am a medical student at the University of Nottingham. I have about a year of tutoring experience from beforehand, and i have worked at ExploreLearning for a few months.
