I am a dedicated student of Mathematics and Actuarial Science with a strong passion for problem-solving and analytical thinking. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps—an approach I bring into my tutoring sessions. Outside of academics, I have a keen interest in sports including football, badminton, snooker, and golf. I believe that the discipline and strategic thinking gained from sports complement my academic pursuits and enhance my ability to connect with students from various backgrounds. I'm enthusiastic about helping learners build confidence and achieve their goals in a supportive and engaging environment. I am currently studying Mathematics and Actuarial Science at the University of Southampton, where I am continuing to deepen my understanding of mathematical theory, statistical analysis, and their real-world applications. This degree is further strengthening my analytical and problem-solving skills, which I bring into my tutoring sessions. Before university, I completed my A Levels at St Dominic’s Sixth Form College, achieving an A in both Mathematics and Chemistry—subjects I now tutor. My success in these subjects has given me the confidence and insight to support students in mastering challenging concepts and developing effective exam strategies. I completed my GCSEs at Pinner High School, earning 11 GCSEs at grades 9 to 7, including top marks in Maths and the Sciences. This academic foundation has given me a strong understanding of the UK curriculum and the expectations of exam boards. Having recently been through the school and sixth form system myself, I am well placed to relate to students and provide guidance that is both up-to-date and practical. I aim to create a calm, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, tackle their weaknesses, and build confidence in their abilities.

I'm Klersa, I am studying Neuroscience at the University of Edinburgh. I studied biology, chemistry and physics at A level and I obtained A*AA. I enjoy tutoring and helping students improve their understanding of the subjects they struggle with, by personalising my teaching method to their needs. I think students can grow to love science subjects with the right help! I teach biology, physics, chemistry, and science at GCSE level and biology and chemistry at A level. I have experience with AQA, OCR A, and Edexcel exam boards. In my free time I enjoy hiking, attending live music and theatre events and reading books! I am an undergrad student at the University of Edinburgh. I study Neuroscience, which involves a lot of chemistry and biology. I hold A-level qualifications in physics, biology and chemistry with grades A*AA, demonstrating a strong knowledge of these subjects. My A-level results reflect my dedication to academic excellence and my passion for sciences as well as a strong aptitude for critical thinking and problem-solving. During my A levels I carried out multiple presentations, explaining key topics to my fellow classmates as part of a flipped learning program, favourable ones being on explaining intricate biological processes, such as the propagation of action potentials through synapses, amongst others.

I have learned and taught several subjects during the pandemic in order to help the learners around my community to obtain learning despite the situation. I have dealt with diverse learners and it made become an enthusiast to those who are struggling to learn. I can directly assess what their learning needs are, and that is how I personalize my teaching materials. I am very passionate at teaching because I love the way I impart my knowledge to my learners, especially when I get the chance to learn from them as well. It is my goal to make learning easy and fun so expect that there will be no boring sessions with me. I studied Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in English. As of this moment, I am currently taking my master’s education which is English Language Teaching. Throughout those years, I believe I have gained skills and experiences relevant to teaching. I have developed dynamic teaching strategies that makes my lessons fun and engaging.
