Hello! I’m Alice Bennett, a licensed English teacher with 14 years of experience helping students grow into confident communicators. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in English, and I’ve completed the academic requirements for a Master of Arts in English Language Education. Currently, I teach Grades 7 to 10, guiding learners through some of the most formative and exciting years of their academic journey. Over the years, I’ve supported students preparing for college entrance exams as well as international assessments like IELTS and TOEFL. Working with learners from diverse backgrounds has taught me that every student has a unique story — and I take pride in finding strategies that help each one succeed in their own way. Teaching, for me, is more than a profession — it’s a passion. During the sessions, I work with my students through the agreed upon topic paying close attention to the core concepts, we go through some exam-style questions, and also learn how to frame the answers in the way examiners expect. I also share effecting studying and memory techniques to enable them to better learn and master their content. In my spare time, I enjoy singing (I'm currently taking a music theory class and hope to progress to one day play the cello) and dancing. These help me unwind and also have fun! Hi! My name is Dipasha and I’m currently a final year Pharmacology student at QMUL, with a strong interest in academic research and medicine. Outside of my studies, I enjoy playing tennis and badminton. I also love to explore different places in London and listen to music! :) I am currently in my final year studying BSc Pharmacology and Innovative Therapeutics at Queen Mary University of London, where I am predicted to achieve a first class degree. Prior to this, I completed my A-levels, where I built a strong academic foundation in science and developed effective study and exam techniques. I also performed very well at GCSE level, which reflects my academic ability and strong understanding of core subjects. Alongside my studies, I have gained experience supporting other students with their learning, helping to break down complex topics and build confidence, which has strengthened both my communication skills and ability to adapt to different learning styles.

I am a dedicated student of Mathematics and Actuarial Science with a strong passion for problem-solving and analytical thinking. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps—an approach I bring into my tutoring sessions. Outside of academics, I have a keen interest in sports including football, badminton, snooker, and golf. I believe that the discipline and strategic thinking gained from sports complement my academic pursuits and enhance my ability to connect with students from various backgrounds. I'm enthusiastic about helping learners build confidence and achieve their goals in a supportive and engaging environment. I am currently studying Mathematics and Actuarial Science at the University of Southampton, where I am continuing to deepen my understanding of mathematical theory, statistical analysis, and their real-world applications. This degree is further strengthening my analytical and problem-solving skills, which I bring into my tutoring sessions. Before university, I completed my A Levels at St Dominic’s Sixth Form College, achieving an A in both Mathematics and Chemistry—subjects I now tutor. I completed my GCSEs at Pinner High School, earning 11 GCSEs at grades 9 to 7, including top marks in Maths and the Sciences. This academic foundation has given me a strong understanding of the UK curriculum and the expectations of exam boards. Having recently been through the school and sixth form system myself, I am well placed to relate to students and provide guidance that is both up-to-date and practical.
