Hi! My name is sharmin, I am currently studying Medicine in Manchester and have worked with students of a wide range of ages and requirements. I personally thrive off learning and am a dedicated tutor who understands how important it is to provide students with unique and tailored support to help them not only achieve their study goals but also actively enjoy the learning process. Having faced my own challenging exams, I know what is needed to build up strong study habits and maintain motivation especially when encountering complex study concepts. I am currently about to enter my third year of degree in Medicine at the University of Manchester where I have built up a strong understanding of the sciences particularly Chemistry and Biology as well as application skills. I completed my GCSEs and A levels in Greater Manchester as well with the latter being during the COVID pandemic. In my degree I have spent a lot of time as a peer tutor to people in my class and students in the years of the degree below me in teaching societies. Alongside this I have also tutored students in English Language and Literature GCSE previously as I have always enjoyed the subject and volunteered as a tutor for students in Year 5-6 looking for additional support in their SATs exams.

I am a 5th Year Medical Student and have been teaching for many years, I got accepted into grammar and have dedicated many hours to learning and passing on my knowledge. I teach 11+ and have proven methods on understanding the logic and ways to solve the questions. In addition I tutor Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Science, Geography and Maths. I have a keen interest in playing instrumets, learning a new language, keeping active and am currently a co-author on a pending paper to be published in the medical/surgical field. I completed my GCSE Equivalent in 2009 with all subjects taken at higher level. I completed Premedical science in 2015, I completed my BSc in Biomedical Science - involving in depth study of Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics. I completed my Postgraduate certificate in Public health. I am currently in 5th Year of studying Medicine.

Preferred student age group: Any I live in South Africa, I have a Masters degree in Chiropractic and I have 2 years of experience in helping students with academic writing. I enjoy watching health documentaries, movies, hanging out with friends and taking long walks at the beach. I am a qualified chiropractor, currently running my own practice in South Africa. I have a masters degree in Chiropractic, which I obtained from the Durban University of Technology. I am also a qualified online English teacher, I obtained my online teaching qualification from the TEFL Academy, UK. I have tutored a lot of students over the past 3 years, helping them learn how to write and understand essays, reports on projects, poems, short stories, assignments and many other academic and English related tasks.

Hi, I’m Stephen, a passionate and determined educator who loves learning and sharing that enthusiasm with others. I strive to create a learning space filled with curiosity and wonder, whether in literature or the sciences, helping students explore, question, and grow. Watching my students progress step by step and reach new heights is what drives me as a teacher. Outside of teaching, I’m a gamer, a photographer, and a farmer. Lately, I’ve also been diving into writing, exploring storytelling as another way to inspire and create. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology, majoring in microbiology. Throughout my studies, I had multiple opportunities to tutor others, which sparked my passion for education. Later, I branched out into teaching English to ESL students, where I found great fulfillment in helping learners grow in confidence and communication. Each year, my experience deepens, becoming more specialized as I refine my approach to teaching. I take pride in my ability to adapt seamlessly, both in the moment and through careful planning, to ensure each student gets the support they need to succeed.
