Hi! I'm Abbie, a fourth year BSc Biotechnology with Industrial Experience student based in Manchester. I'm looking to tutor GCSE Science and A-Level Biology. Having been a student leader throughout my second year, I have a dedication to supporting and teaching students and will use my knowledge and experiences to ensure you make the most out of your studies. I attended Peter Symonds College, where I studied Biology, Psychology, Chemistry and the Extended Project Qualification (A*/A*/A/A*). I currently attend university in Manchester and specialise in Biotechnology (with interest primarily in genetics, bioinformatics, and molecular biology).

Hi, I am Naomi and I am thrilled to be your online tutor. I have had the pleasure of working with students from different ages and backgrounds. I am a tutor for Mathematics and my target students are primary to secondary students. Everyone has a unique learning style, and I like to adapt my teaching approach to meet each student’s needs. I use the online interactive whiteboard for lessons which allows both parties to write, annotate or highlight on the screen. The work for every lesson is carefully designed to suit each individual's need which is identified from initial assessment and ongoing observations. I enjoy teaching because I love helping students to develop their skills and achieve their academic goals. Levels and subjects I teach: GCSE: Mathematics KS3: Mathematics 11 plus: Mathematics I graduated from Imperial College London in BSc in Chemistry with Management with First Class Honours. For A Level, I achieved A in Maths, Chemistry and Accounting and also B in Physics For GCSE, I had 9 GCSEs including 7 A in Maths, Science, Commerce, Geography, etc My academic excellence serves as a strong foundation in tutoring as I can explain concepts clearly ensuring students grasp the material effectively. My experience in tackling challenging problems equips me with strategies to help students approach difficult questions with confidence and precision.

For about 6 years and about 4000 hours of teaching experience, I have helped several students turn their grades around in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths for Gcse and A-Levels. I have an ESL certification (TEFL/TESOL), which helps me communicate best with non-native speakers. Having had a firsthand experience of the struggles these subjects can give and then steadily turning my grades around, I combine actual study content with relevant past papers, quizzes, and tips that have always brought a tremendous boost in my students grades very quickly. My classes ae fun, engaging, and taken at the studnts pace. My hobbies are traveling, tennis, and movies. Bachelor's in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Computer scientist and Human-Computer Interaction researcher with interests in qualitative research. This has naturally led me down the path of sociology. Besides this, I am adept at tutoring GCSE Mathematics to bilingual students to help them achieve their goals. I attended Rochdale Sixth Form College. Here, I achieved an A in mathematics. I received an unconditional offer to study at the University of York, where I completed a BSc in Computer Systems. I specialised in Human-Computer Interaction, Qualitative Research methodologies, and User Experience research methods.
