I have been tutoring with GoStudent for almost a year now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a current Sunday-School teacher and former volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I won several prizes during my degree, including three prize scholarships and the Roy Porter Prize for History in my second year. Prior to my degree, I took three A-Levels in History, Maths and English, receiving all A*s, and prior to that, ten GCSEs, receiving all 9s.

Alongside my A-Levels, I completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) on antibiotic resistance, an area of real scientific relevance. This independent research project developed my ability to think critically, evaluate complex information, and communicate ideas in a clear, structured way—skills that are essential for academic success and effective exam technique. I am currently a medical student, a highly competitive course that reflects both my academic ability and commitment to excellence.
