My name is Yasir, I am a dedicated and humble tutor specializing in Computer Science and Mathematics. I am a PhD Student, studying Computer Science (Informatik) at University of Zürich I teach Computer Science (GCSE, A-Level), Math (Year 7 - Year 11) as well as all the Major sciences; Chemistry, Phyiscs, Biology and Combined Science at GCSE level With a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science & Engineering, and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Zurich, I have a genuine passion for teaching. I strive to simplify complex concepts and create an inclusive learning environment for students of all levels. My patient and friendly approach ensures that every student achieves comprehensive understanding. I have experience teaching prestigious UK boards such as AQA, OCR, and EdExcel, as well as providing guidance to Leaving Certificate students in the Irish school system. Outside of tutoring, I find joy in engaging with video games on PC, playing drums, guitar, traveling as well as playing football. Hi, I’m Maja! (Pronounced Maya). I’m an astrophysics postgrad and a qualified secondary school science teacher. I’ve been through the full rollercoaster of science education, from fighting my way through a master’s degree and emerging with first-class honours, to teaching Year 9s on a Friday afternoon who would rather be anywhere else. Now I help GCSE and A-Level students believe what I already know: you can do this. My goal is to make science feel understandable, interesting, and even a bit fun. When I’m not teaching, you'll find me hanging upside down on an aerial hoop, or writing stories inspired by science and folklore. I went to secondary school in Hungary, where I was initially more interested in the humanities, until I fell in love with space and modern physics. For my leaving qualifications, I completed Advanced Exams in Mathematics and Physics and achieved an A. At university, I completed an integrated Master of Physics degree at the University of Southampton. My first three years focused on general physics (including lab work, mechanics, quantum physics, solid state physics, and wave physics) with a few modules of astronomy. During my master’s year, I had the incredible opportunity to conduct research at the Harvard & Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, where I studied the relationship between black holes and their host galaxies and wrote my thesis on this topic. I graduated with first-class honours in Astrophysics. After university, I felt drawn to education and wanted to help students grasp the beauty of science, so I completed a year of school-centred initial teacher training. I now hold a PGCE with QTS as a qualified science teacher.

I’m a fourth year dental student with a passion for teaching. I’ve been tutoring Biology at A-Level and GCSE for over three years, helping students understand complex topics with ease. Outside of academics, I enjoy going to the gym and boxing, always striving for self-improvement—both physically and mentally which i am to provide to my students. I attended George Dixon Academy for secondary school, achieving an 8 in Biology and chemistry at GCSE. I then studied at Birmingham Tuition Centre, earning an A in A-Alevel Chemistry and an A* in A-Level Biology. Currently, I am a 4th year Dental Medicine at Plovdiv Medical University in Bulgaria.

I am a Qualified Teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching Mathematics to students of all levels. Experience with: Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, GCSE Maths Exam Prep, Special Need,11+ ,13+ Exam Board Experience: I can work with any exam board. Edexcel, AQA, OCR (most material is common to all exam boards). I am currently working as a Mathematics teacher at a school in the U.K. In my previous roles, I taught mathematics and coding. I have also tutored students at various levels, from primary school to college. I am very well aware of the Mathematics curriculum and always look for new and engaging ways to teach it. I am passionate about helping students learn and committed to providing them with the best possible education. I am proficient in English I hold a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Mathematics & Computer Science with Honors. I also hold a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mathematics & Computer Science with Honors. I am a highly motivated and skilled Teacher with a strong academic background.
