I’m a medical student with a passion for teaching Biology, Science, and Maths at primary and GCSE levels. Almost 10 years in higher education, I’ve learned two key things: 1) Every student can succeed with the right teaching approach, and 2) Learning should be active, using techniques like spaced repetition and active recall. I focus on breaking down complex topics, using examples, mnemonics, and past papers to help students understand. I’m patient and adaptable, always ready to find new ways to explain concepts if needed. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about sports, gaming, and tech. I’ve coached an under-15 basketball team and teach guitar at my church, which helps me connect with students and build trust to boost their confidence and performance. I graduated from Glasgow in 2020 with a 2:1 in Biomedical Sciences and am currently pursuing a medical degree. My strong academic background in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, English, and Geography enables me to offer well-rounded and insightful tutoring.

Hi! I’m Mehmood, 19 years old and currently studying medicine (MBBS) at Hull York Medical School. While I absolutely love studying, I have many other passions that burn just as brightly — I’m into sports, gym, and cycling, and I’m always open to trying new ones! Some cool facts about me: I speak English, Pashto and Urdu. Also, I have a 4-year-old tabby cat called Misty, and I’m one of six siblings! I attended St. Peter's RC High School in Gorton, where I studied separate sciences, business, geography, religious studies, and core subjects, achieving 6 grade 9s and 3 grade 8s. I then studied biology, psychology, and chemistry at Loreto Sixth Form College, earning A*AB in my A-levels. During my medical school application, I achieved a UCAT score of 2750 Band 1, securing four medical school interviews and ultimately firming Hull York Medical School—where I am currently studying medicine (MBBS). Alongside my academic journey, I’ve been a private tutor for the past two years, helping students build confidence and achieve top grades in science and math. I also completed a 3-week teaching internship at COOP Academy, delivering science lessons to Year 8 and 9 students. Additionally, I’ve gained valuable clinical experience working in GP practices and hospital settings, consulting with patients and developing strong communication and empathy skills. My educational background reflects a strong foundation in science and a passion for teaching. Hi! I am Hannah, a friendly, approachable English tutor with a Masters in English Literature from Queen Mary University, London. I take a positive, non-judgemental, uplifting approach to teaching - no questions are silly questions and I am passionate about helping my students gain confidence within themselves. I happily adjust my sessions to fit students needs, explaining things as little or as many times as they need in a patient and understanding way.
