Hello! I’m Ivy Adriel, a passionate and committed math teacher who believes that mathematics should be both meaningful and enjoyable. I love guiding students as they discover how math connects to everyday life and the world around them. In my classes, I focus on making lessons dynamic and interactive. Through hands-on activities, real-life examples, and engaging problem-solving challenges, I aim to spark curiosity and strengthen my students’ confidence step by step. Outside the classroom, I enjoy watching science fictions and playing chess—activities that sharpen my thinking and inspire the strategic, creative approach I bring to my teaching every day. I hold a degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, which provided me with a strong analytical foundation and a deep appreciation for logical thinking and problem-solving. Over the past four years, I have been teaching mathematics, gaining valuable experience in guiding students through a wide range of topics and ability levels. Throughout my journey, I have developed effective teaching strategies and strong classroom management skills that help me deliver clear, engaging lessons. This experience enables me to support diverse learning styles and create a positive, encouraging environment where every student feels confident and motivated to succeed.

I’m a 21 year old dental student studying in Bulgaria. I’ve taught students in the past, mainly during their GCSEs and A Levels, and I’m really excited to start teaching again. I’ve always been passionate about helping others learn because not only does it allow me to support students in building their confidence and understanding but it also strengthens my own knowledge. Outside of teaching, I love baking, painting, and playing sports like badminton :) I attended Nower Hill High School for both GCSEs and A-Levels. For GCSEs I achieved grades 9, 8, 8 in Biology, Chemistry and Maths respectively. For A-levels I achieved grades AAB in Biology, Maths and Chemistry respectively. I am currently studying dental medicine at the Medical University of Sofia.

Currently, I teach KS2 (White Rose Maths) / KS3 / GCSE / IGCSE/ A Level Maths for AQA, OCR, Edexcel, and CAIE exam boards, and KS3 Physics (not Year 10 above). I also teach Maths for the MYP and IB Diploma Programme. I use resources from Pearson, Hodder, Cambridge, Oxford, Collins, Haese, and past papers as reference materials. Furthermore, I'm TEFL-certified and have been teaching English (ESL, Key (A2) PET (B1), First (B2), Advanced (C1) Certification), Math, Physics, and basic Japanese (N5-N4) part-time online for several years. Throughout elementary and high school, I eagerly represented my school in Math and English (Extemporaneous speech, broadcasting, editorial writing) competitions, which provided me with intensive training and a strong affinity for the subjects. With my engineering background, I also have a solid foundation in some Physics. Finally, I have Japanese Language Proficiency N3 (Intermediate) Level, so I can teach N5-N4 (Beginner) level Japanese to those who are interested in this language.

I am an experienced teacher .I have 10 years teaching experience online and 6 years teaching experience in class.I have my bachelors degree in Education ,Tefl,Tesol and an Adult basic education and training certificate .I teach English is a fun and educational way .My favorite is teaching vocabulary and grammar .I play sports like hockey and cricket as well as I also coach these sports at a primary school.
