Throughout my academic journey, I developed a passion for education and a love for helping others reach their potential. In addition to my degree, I have gained valuable experience working as a Teaching Assistant across a variety of subjects, such as English and Science including Mathematics. My role as a Maths TA allowed me to assist students with complex concepts, fostering an environment where they could confidently grasp challenging material. I have also worked as a TA for other subjects as mentioned, where I supported students with learning difficulties, provided additional help during lessons, and guided individuals in areas where they needed extra assistance. This experience has allowed me to cultivate patience, communication skills, and a genuine desire to help others improve academically. I find great satisfaction in seeing students progress and develop their skills, and I continue to be inspired by the positive impact education has on people's lives. I’m a Biomedical Science student at Lancaster University looking to tutor as a first step towards a teaching career. I have three younger sisters that have definitely taught me the value of patience. Despite my scientific background I spend most of my spare time reading, and doing arts and crafts. I have A levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology at st. Edwards college, where I also completed my GCSEs, I currently attend Lancaster University, studying a Biomedical Science bachelors degree. My specialisations would be Biology and Psychology.
