Hi! I have just finished my PhD at Bath, developing biosensors for cancer diagnostics. My expertise is in Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Physics (in that order!). My undergrad was in Chemical Engineering (via Natural Sciences) at the University of Cambridge. I have experience in teaching students at the University by helping them understand scientific concepts in experimental settings and showing students how these concepts relate to and exist in the real world- not just a textbook! I am a patient and supportive tutor with an Agriculture Management background. Passionate about helping students understand concepts step-by-step and build confidence and able to work independently in thier learning journey. I completed a Diploma in Agriculture Management at Potchefstroom College of Agriculture and I am currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma in Agriculture Management at the University of South Africa (UNISA). Hello! My name is Daher Salameh and I'm a mechanical engineer. I have a master's degree in mechanical engineering and currently work as an R&D engineer. I always had a passion for teaching and valued education a lot, as it's our tool to build a better future for ourselves and keep moving forward as individuals and as a society. My area of expertise in teaching is mainly Math and Physics (but also taught other subjects), and I have more than 5 years of experience in this field. Moreover, I have gained extensive experience in the AQA, Edexcel, and OCR exam boards. Throughout the years, I have learned to deliver concepts to my students in ways they have never seen before — that I believe are interesting — which encourages them to learn. I always try to present the physical significance behind every concept, the intuition behind the formulas, and the relation of everything academic to its real life counterpart. I hope you'll learn from and enjoy my lessons because I certainly enjoy giving them! I have completed a BSc in mechanical engineering in 2022, then an MSc in applied mechanics and thermal sciences in 2025. I have done extensive work in the fields of dynamics, simulation, software development, and AI. Apart from working in those fields, I like working on cars, doing calisthenics, and solving puzzles like the Rubik's cube.

Hello! My name is Emma, and I am a second-year Accounting and Finance student at Lancaster University. I achieved 9 GCSEs, ranging from 7-9, which allowed me to study Chemistry, Economics and Maths. I also gained an A* in my EPQ, which I completed in year 12, giving me crucial skills that I have carried forward to my degree. I have been tutoring for over a year. During this time, I have helped prepare primary school students for their SATS and gained more confidence with maths in the classroom. I also prepared year 11 and 13 students for their GCSE and A levels by covering content they were unsure of and practising exam techniques. I previously gained experience mentoring GCSE students at my school. I am a student with dyslexia, so I understand the challenges students face in classroom settings. Anyone can be successful, which is why my sessions are student-led, so that they are catered towards each individual's learning style. If you are unsure of this throughout my school career, I have learnt different methods that work for me and would love to pass them on to others so that we can find a technique that works for you. I attended Rugby School, where I completed my GCSEs and A levels, and now I have gone on to study for a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University, where my ambition is to become an ACA Chartered Accountant. Having studied Chemistry, Economics and Maths at A level, I offer tutoring for students up to and including year 11 in Maths and Chemistry and then Economics up to and including year 13 students.
