Hi! My name is Amy and I’m currently studying Maths and Philosophy at the University of Leeds. I am a Maths tutor aiming to help students between KS2 and GCSE level to enjoy and understand Maths. Beyond studying, I have a passion for dancing and love to perform on stage. When I am not dancing, I also love to solve puzzles and riddles. Initially, I attended All Saints Primary School. Then, I went to Greenbank High School and received 11 GCSEs with grades ranging from 7-9. I took a mix of GCSE subjects from Dance and Drama to History and Further Maths. After High School, I attended Runshaw College. I completed A-levels in Maths, Psychology and English Literature and earned grades AAC. I also completed an AS-level in Further Maths and earned a grade C. I am currently completing a BSc Maths and Philosophy honours degree programme at the University of Leeds. I have completed my second year and will hopefully be graduating in the summer of 2026.

Second year physics student at Lancaster university. Active in the Doctor Who society, though not knowledgeable enough to take part in the whoniversity challenge. Also the proud owner of several plants which are surviving surprisingly well; and I always seem to have a couple of creative projects on the go. Currently in my second year studying physics at Lancaster University. I sat AQA A-level Physics in June 2023 and also did A-level edexcel courses in Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths, achieving As in Physics and Maths. In 2022 I did a 10 week course of helping year 5s complete experiments and teaching them about the scientific method; as well as completing an externally-marked, independent research project.

Hi, My name is Nithin, and I am a recent graduate in Economics and Finance from the University of Surrey. I love making Maths and Economics accessible, interesting, and enjoyable for students. I have experience supporting young learners as a Maths Leader at The Piggott School. I know how to explain complex concepts in simple terms and tailor my teaching to suit each student’s learning style. I have availability for students Mondays and Wednesdays daytimes only. I also work with students on a weekly basis at a minimum to ensure momentum and consistency for the student. I have been an educator and trainer for over 17 years and love nothing more than seeing students achieve their goals. I am a scuba diving instructor as my main role and work all over the world. I enjoy watching Netflix and love diving even when I am not in work. I have been lucky to see a lot of the world through all my roles during my career. I tutor 11+, English up to the end of year 9 only and also tutor mathematics and science up to GCSE. I have knowledge of all UK countries curriculum and also the German curriculum. I myself completed the 11+ equivalent when younger and understand the commitment and learning that is needed to succeed. My favourite subjects in school were maths, science and physical education. I am also experienced in working with children with additional learning needs.
