Currently studying (MEng) Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering at the University of Sheffield, I am a dedicated Maths and Physics tutor, with around an 2-3 years total experience in person and online, helping students build confidence and achieve top grades. My approach combines the structured discipline of established learning centres, such as Kumon (where I was a tutor for more than 2 years) and the flexible touch of indepedent 1 on 1 tutoring. I achieved a Grade 9 in Maths and all Sciences in my GCSEs and got an A in Physics at A level. I have also had experience tutoring 11+ briefly, and have passed the 11+ myself in 2017. Hi! I have just finished my PhD at Bath, developing biosensors for cancer diagnostics. My expertise is in Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Physics (in that order!). My undergrad was in Chemical Engineering (via Natural Sciences) at the University of Cambridge. I have experience in teaching students at the University by helping them understand scientific concepts in experimental settings and showing students how these concepts relate to and exist in the real world- not just a textbook! Hi my name is Nayab and I am an Aeronautical Engineer working in a Mechanical Engineering role.
