Hi!! My name is Eimear, I’m a 20 year old girl currently in my final year studying a BA in Philosophy, politics and economics at the University of Leeds. I’ve always been a curious individual, who enjoys studying and sharing knowledge with others. During my time at sixth form, I helped a maths GCSE class in preparation for their exams. I really enjoyed this experience and it has urged me to continue to continue with tutoring. I would love to help more people to excel in education and be really proud of their achievements - no matter how big or small! I went to St Nicholas Catholic High School where I got 10 GCSEs grade 9-7 and I stayed on at Sixth Form where I achieved A*,A,A in English Literature, Maths and Religious Studies ALevels. Alongside my ALevels, I also completed an Extended Project Qualification that was awarded an A* as well. I now study a BA in PPE at University of Leeds, where I am aiming to achieve a first class. When I was in sixth form, I helped a GCSE maths class in preparation for their exams, where I conducted 1-1 sessions with various students to go over past papers and establish areas of concern. Beyond that, my degree has allowed me to continue to develop both my numerical skills as well as my written skills, so I think I have a good basis for helping students with both English and Maths (my two favourite subjects). I have work experience as a waitress and cleaner, which have helped me to communicate clearer and work well with a team. Additionally, I am Secretary of Leeds University PPE society, a task which has really developed my team building skills, my ability to organise my time and respond accordingly to comments.

Hello ! I'm a chemical engineering student looking to share my personal tips and tricks that i use to easily understand stem subjects .My lessons cetre around personal , tailored teaching to help student reach whatever academic goals they have . I have been a private tutor for almost 5 years now so am confident in my ability to adapt lesson content to best suit individual student needs .I am also very familiar with most UK exam boards and keep exam papers as the main pivot of my teaching :) I specialise in teaching maths , physics and chemistry all from Ks1-Ks3 level ( science is taught at foundation GCSE level only - not higher ) For my A levels, I went to Havering sixth form college (the branch located in Upminster ) . There I studied maths, physics and chemistry at A level and left with decent grades . I then chose London south back university to do my undergraduate degree in chemical engineering

Above all, I believe progress starts with encouragement, and I aim to create lessons where students feel supported, proud of their effort, and inspired to keep improving. I studied Psychology at university, where I developed a strong understanding of how students learn and how confidence impacts performance. My studies helped me recognise that progress isn’t just about intelligence — it’s about mindset and approach. Before that, I achieved three A-Levels and gained hands-on experience working in schools as a learning support assistant, supporting students across maths, English, and general study skills. I’m now planning to continue my studies in Marketing and Business Management, combining my interest in psychology and communication with a passion for helping others grow and reach their potential. I am a medical student at UCL with a strong academic background, having achieved A* grades at A-level in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry.
