Hello! I am an English Literature with Creative Writing university student and I am passionate about Literature, History and other creative subjects. I am also passionate about guiding students academically. My favourite literature genre includes classical works and compiled essays!

I've been spending my year volunteering as a Student mentor, writing, painting, and performing art! I decided I would like to enjoy sharing my past knowledge with younger people! I completed Highschool in Panama and Scotland. Completed my higher qualifications with 3 A's and 2 B's. Later then enrolled into university and successfully completed my first year! I find a lot of joy in volunteering, advocating for human rights, and writing, therefore transferred to Political Science after my first year!

Lower Level: Maths GCSE: Maths A-Level: (Maths, Currently brushing up on the syllabuses) Exam Board Experience: AQA, Edexel, 11+, Common entrance Languages: English Preferred Student age group: Any I am an Electronic Engineering Graduate from the University Of York, I used to struggle with maths but turned myself around to get 91% in my University Mathematics exam and enjoyed helping others to do the same (hence why I'm now on this site!). Maths can sometimes seem really complicated, but it all makes sense I promise! Understanding it just requires the right approach for yourself and self confidence. My hobbies include making music, extreme sports and coding for visual arts. Im also learning German at the moment. I hold a masters in Sound Design and Audiovisual Practice from the University of Glasgow. This allowed me to combine my interests and creatively employ skills in Maths and Electronics in various projects. This experience really showed me that even though some skills may seem so far removed from one another, being unrestricted in learning, leads to exciting possibilities that may only reveal themselves in time.

I have been teaching English online for over three-years now. This has included English as a foreign language and GCSE/ A level English literature and language. I graduated last year with a first-class degree in English literature and Language in Cardiff University and received a scholarship in my second year for being the best performing pupil in my cohort. English teaching has long been a passion of mine and my role has evolved to encompass academic writing support, something that I feel should be taught in school and is sought after by examiners across all exam boards. My students always achieve their goals through hard work, regular tutoring and lots of writing practice! I am currently a part-time Master's student of a TESOL and Education programme in Cardiff and my intention is to lecture this subject in the near future after my PHD. Alongside my own studying, I volunteer at an asylum-seeker charity 4 hours a week teaching adults basic skills such as digital literacy, English communication and life skills. I am also responsible for about 4 young learners who I have taught consistently over the last three-years.
