Hello. I'm Debs, nice to meet you. I tutor a range of subjects, all based on experience of teaching within school, college and less tradiitional settings. I love tutoring one to one as that is the best way to give the student exactly what they need. I teach Sociology, Business and English at GCSE and A level and I have experience of AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I have also taught Btec Business level 1-3 In 2023 I completed a Master's degree in Philosophy as I love learning new things just as much as I love to teach. I make learning fun wherever possible and tailor every lesson to the student's needs. I use a variety of methods so you won't get bored and I am always happy to answer questions and re-explain things. There's no such thing as a silly question! I appreciate people who try, no matter what their ability is, and i love seeing people achieve things that they never dreamed they could. Let me help you do that. Hi, I’m Maite! I’m a native German speaker and teach German at all levels — Primary, GCSE, and A-Level. Besides German and English, I also speak French and Spanish. I hold a BA in Cultural Studies with a minor in Educational Science, which deepened my understanding of cross-cultural learning, communication, and how to make complex ideas accessible. During my time at university, I spent over three years tutoring children of different ages, working in a programme led by the German federal government to support children from migrant and refugee backgrounds in their school learning. I am now excited to work with adults as well. When I think back to my own school years, the teachers who inspired me most were those whose honest passion made even my least favourite subjects enjoyable. That’s the atmosphere I aim to create in my lessons: engaging, light, and enjoyable. Outside tutoring, I teach meditation and mindfulness and support a charity creatively, which helps me bring patience, flexibility, and creativity into my teaching. Hi everyone ! I'm Ridhi and I am a first year geography student at the University of Warwick. I completed A levels in Biology, Economics and Maths and achieved grades of all As. I have a passion for tutoring and helping students reach their full potential. Having the experience as a student tutor, I am able to devise powerpoints and engaging resources tailored to everyone. Outside academics, I play badminton and swim regularly and am part of many societies at Warwick. I'm excited to meet you all! I have worked at KipMcgrath education centre as a student tutor and helper during my A levels. Alongside this, I have been an economics prefect at my sixth form as well as led econsociety, where we delivered visually engaging presentations every week. I created a diverse and inclusive society allowing those who wanted to engage in economics outside study would be able to.
