Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Joshua and I'm here to help your child master maths. I'm currently a 5th-year medical student with a passion for learning and teaching, and I'm actively working towards my ambition of becoming an Ophthalmologist, possibly practicing in the US. With over a year of tutoring experience, I have successfully completed almost 200 lessons with students of various ages and abilities, building a strong track record of helping them achieve their academic goals. Beyond maths, I also have valuable work experience helping primary school children with English as a second language improve their reading skills, which has further refined my patience and adaptability as an educator. My core teaching style is built on creating a relaxed and friendly environment. Grade 7/A in Spanish, Geography, English Literature, and English Language. This success continued into my A-Levels, where I secured an A* in Chemistry, an A in Biology, and a D3 (equivalent to an A) in History. Currently, I am navigating the exciting and challenging world of medicine as a 5th-year medical student at the Medical University of Sofia. My time in medical school—and my ambitious goal of becoming an Ophthalmologist—isn't just about science; it's about problem-solving, long-term focus, and breaking down complex information into manageable steps. I am entering my third year of General Engineering at the University of Sheffield, specialising in Systems & Control.
