I’m a medical student with a passion for teaching Biology, Science, and Maths at primary and GCSE levels. Almost 10 years in higher education, I’ve learned two key things: 1) Every student can succeed with the right teaching approach, and 2) Learning should be active, using techniques like spaced repetition and active recall. I focus on breaking down complex topics, using examples, mnemonics, and past papers to help students understand. I’m patient and adaptable, always ready to find new ways to explain concepts if needed. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about sports, gaming, and tech. I’ve coached an under-15 basketball team and teach guitar at my church, which helps me connect with students and build trust to boost their confidence and performance. I graduated from Glasgow in 2020 with a 2:1 in Biomedical Sciences and am currently pursuing a medical degree. My strong academic background in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, English, and Geography enables me to offer well-rounded and insightful tutoring.

Hello, I teach English Literature and Sociology, both at GCSE and A Level. My name is Innes and I am currently in my third year of studying Sociology with Criminology, at York University. I am a positive and enthusiastic individual, who is dedicated to making learning fun and interactive. I will tailor each lesson to the individual's personal academic goals. I am patient and understanding and want to motivate each student to engage positively with our lessons. I have four A levels in Sociology, Philosophy and Ethics, History and English Literature. I am currently in my third year of my Undergraduate Degree at York University. I have GCSE's in English Language, English Literature, Religious Studies, Graphic Design, Geography, History, Maths, Science and Finance. I am currently an undergraduate at Loughborough University studying aeronautical engineering. I am interested in satellites and fighter jets and mathematics is my favourite subject. I’m an athlete and love fitness, and have been an academic for the longest. I love research and solving very hard maths problems. I love music and everything in between My highest level of qualification is a levels where I studied Mathematics, Maths and Physics as well as taking AS chemistry in year 12. I also took my GCSE’s where I did mathematics and science and further maths gcse with grades ranging from 8-9. Currently I am doing a masters in aeronautical engineering.
