Currently studying (MEng) Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering at the University of Sheffield, I am a dedicated Maths and Physics tutor, with around an 2-3 years total experience in person and online, helping students build confidence and achieve top grades. My approach combines the structured discipline of established learning centres, such as Kumon (where I was a tutor for more than 2 years) and the flexible touch of indepedent 1 on 1 tutoring. I achieved a Grade 9 in Maths and all Sciences in my GCSEs and got an A in Physics at A level. I have also had experience tutoring 11+ briefly, and have passed the 11+ myself in 2017. As a student who completed his GCSE exams 3 years ago, I can provide tailored advice and the most up-to-date tips and tricks to help students flourish and achieve top marks. I went to a selective state-grammar school based on 11+ scores called Lawrence Sheriff School for all of my secondary school years and 6th form. I completed my GCSEs and A-Levels here achieving almost all A*/A scores in every subject. In my free time, I enjoy exploring nature, reading science articles, and experimenting with new ideas, which keeps my mind curious and creative. I graduated with a degree in Master of Arts in Teaching- Biology Education, where I gained a strong foundation in scientific concepts, teaching strategies, and classroom management. With 2 years of face-to-face teaching experience, I have designed and delivered engaging lessons, hands-on experiments, and interactive activities that cater to diverse learning styles. I strive to create a supportive, motivating classroom environment that encourages every student to develop critical thinking, curiosity, and a lifelong love of science while achieving their full potential.

Hi I'm Charlie. I'm a Master's graduate in Physics and currently undertaking a PhD in Astrophysics while working as a postgraduate teaching assistant. I know through experience how difficult physics and maths can be and am in a position to help students by breaking topics down into manageable components. In summer 2025 I graduated with a first class master's degree in physics with astrophysics and cosmology. I began a PhD in astrophysics in October 2025 and have been working as a teaching assistant since then for varied courses in physics from master's level computer labs to first-year mathematics.

Hello! My name is Yasmine and I am finishing my 3rd year of my undergraduate degree, I’ve loved studying criminology and psychology, but my main interests are in criminology and cybercrime!. I really love English literature, reading and social psychology, as well as other crafty hobbies in my free time :) I have completed my 9 GCSEs C-A* including mathematics and English, A-levels in psychology, media studies and English literature, and currently in my final year of my undergraduate degree in Criminology and Psychology, with plans to focus on the areas of cybersecurity and forensic analysis after graduation.
