I am a 3rd year medical student with a passion for teaching, tutoring and helping students get the highest grades they possibly can. I have been teaching for over 5 years working with a wide background of students from 11+ and GCSE students to SEN students. I study Medicine at Aston university and was a former student at the Latymer Grammar School in Edmonton. In my GCSEs I got 9s in Maths, English lang and lit, Biology, Chemistry and Physics and I also got 3 A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths for my A levels

Hi, I'm Jolli Ann Dacanay, a passionate educator who loves teaching Mathematics and English. I aim to make an enjoyable and meaningful experience by tailoring lessons to my student's unique needs. I break down complex Math topics like quadratic equations into simpler concepts and encourage creativity through writing activities. My mission is to build student's confidence and inspire a love for learning by fostering curiosity and critical thinking. I also strive to create a supportive environment where students feel valued and motivated to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally. My educational journey reflects my strong commitment to teaching and lifelong learning. I hold a Doctor in Development Education and a Master of Arts in Education major in Teaching Mathematics, which strengthened both my theoretical and practical understanding of how students learn best. My Diploma in Professional Education equipped me with essential pedagogical skills, while my engineering background developed my analytical and problem-solving abilities. These diverse academic experiences allow me to approach mathematics with clarity, creativity, and patience. With this foundation, I am confident in delivering meaningful, student-centered instruction as an online math tutor.

I'm a recent grad from Warwick University, while I was there I enjoyed playing dodgeball, going for hikes and learning the guitar. I look forward to seeing movies at the cinema and cycling on the weekends as well as visiting museums and galleries. I also have a pet cat. I completed a BSc in Mathematical Statistics (with Computer Science) at the University of Warwick. My course was intensive, covering broad areas of pure and applied maths, theoretical statistics, statistical modelling and programming. As many of my modules were geared towards data science, much of my learning culminated in an undergraduate research project in machine learning - exploring how machines encode information on the neuron-level.

Hi! My name is Amy and I’m currently studying Maths and Philosophy at the University of Leeds. I am a Maths tutor aiming to help students between KS2 and GCSE level to enjoy and understand Maths. Beyond studying, I have a passion for dancing and love to perform on stage. When I am not dancing, I also love to solve puzzles and riddles. Initially, I attended All Saints Primary School. Then, I went to Greenbank High School and received 11 GCSEs with grades ranging from 7-9. I took a mix of GCSE subjects from Dance and Drama to History and Further Maths. After High School, I attended Runshaw College. I completed A-levels in Maths, Psychology and English Literature and earned grades AAC. I also completed an AS-level in Further Maths and earned a grade C. I am currently completing a BSc Maths and Philosophy honours degree programme at the University of Leeds. I have completed my second year and will hopefully be graduating in the summer of 2026.
