Hi, my name is Sanjhu, and I’m someone who genuinely enjoys helping others learn and feel more confident in themselves. I understand that studying can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I always aim to create a calm, supportive, and friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I explain topics in a clear and simple way and adapt my approach to suit different learning styles. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, going on walks, swimming, and spending time with friends and family. I’m reliable, approachable, and always motivated to support students in reaching their goals. I am currently a first-year medical student, studying at the University of Exeter. Before starting medicine, I completed A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics, which gave me a strong foundation in scientific knowledge, problem-solving, and exam technique. My studies at university continue to build on these skills, particularly in understanding complex concepts, applying knowledge, and communicating clearly. Hello! I’m Shyomi, a first-year Aerospace Engineering student. I did my A-Levels in Maths, Physics, and Psychology, which provided me with a strong background in problem-solving, and an understanding of how different students learn. I am highly patient and specialise in supporting KS1, KS2, and GCSE maths, as well as guiding students through 11+. My main goal is to help students feel completely confident with numbers, and simplify any tricky concepts. I completed my secondary education and sixth form at Bentley Wood High School, where I achieved 12 GCSEs, including an 8 in Maths and Philosophy, and a 7 in Further Maths. Following this, I completed my A-Levels in Maths, Physics, and Psychology. I am now a first-year undergraduate student studying Aerospace Engineering (MEng) at City St George’s University of London.

I have just started university and I am eager to help my students in a supportive way with a dynamic based on mutual respect. Outside of my studies I love to watch football, go on hikes in the South Downs and read the financial times, as I am of course interested in any developments in markets. I went to Sackville School, East Grinstead and completed 12 GCSE's and one level 2 certificate in Further Maths, all at grade 7 and above. I then progressed to my A-Levels, achieving A*AAA in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Physics. During my time I also gained a Gold Certificate in the Senior Maths Challenge and participated in the Senior Maths Kangaroo, whilst also participating in the FCDO Next generation Economics essay competition.
