My name is Zareen Umair. I have a passion for learning new skills and teaching them aswell. I am humbled to have good communication, listening and collaboration skills. I believe in creating an empathetic environment for the student to boost real-world learning and life-long love for education. While saying this i would like to emphasise that i am always working to improve my own teaching skills aswell. Hi, i have completed 17 years of education. I did my bachelors in science subjects and then acquired a Mphil degree in English Language Teaching from Kinnaird University Lahore Pakistan. Currently i am going to apply for double bachelors in an art degree from National College of Arts Lahore Pakistan due to my immense interest in arts.

Hello! I am originally from Italy and have lived in London for the past 7 years. I have a passion for both languages and Maths and I’ve been teaching Maths for 3 years. My students describe me as a really patient person who explains things very clearly in a way that makes sense. I focus on building confidence and nailing exam technique. I attended a language secondary school in Italy, where I studied English, German and French as foreign languages. I then got my BA in Sociology and Politics at Goldsmiths University of London. After that, I trained to be a teacher through Teach First, achieved my QTS and went on to get my PGDE. I have been teaching at a school in Bromley for the past 3 years, and since last year I also took on the role of KS3 Lead within the Maths department, which has allowed me to develop my leadership skills.

My career spans roles as a Software Engineer, IT Project Manager, and Consultant, during which I have delivered exceptional results in system design, project leadership, and implementing cutting-edge technologies that drive business-critical solutions. My expertise extends to software development, network and server administration, technical documentation, and ensuring quality assurance for complex IT systems. Beyond my industry achievements, I am a dedicated educator, having taught IT courses at renowned institutions including Lyceum of the Philippines University, Mapua University, and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. I’ve also mentored students in mathematics across academic levels, fostering the next generation of problem-solvers and innovators. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a Master in Engineering Management with a specialization in Systems Management, I continuously refine my expertise. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Technology Management, I remain committed to staying at the forefront of technological advancements. I’m a passionate tutor who genuinely loves teaching and helping students grow in confidence. My lessons are fun, engaging, and educational, and I always adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s needs. Outside of tutoring, I love Pilates it keeps me focused, energised, and balanced, which I bring into my teaching as well. I hold a Master’s degree in Information Technology with Data Analytics, which I completed with Distinction at the University of the West of Scotland. Through this program, I developed a strong foundation in core IT principles alongside advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. My studies covered areas such as data analysis, data management, information systems, and the practical application of technology to real-world problems.
