I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics, in 2013 and later completed a Master of Education in Mathematics in 2018. With a decade of teaching experience, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to reach their full academic potential. I utilize a variety of instructional techniques and materials, including online resources, to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure that each student has the tools they need to succeed. My approach focuses on guiding students toward their educational goals, whether transitioning to postsecondary education, pursuing vocational paths, or achieving personal growth. I continuously assess and document both the academic and social progress of my students, maintaining thorough records and analyzing data to inform my teaching strategies. Hi - I'm Maria! I have just finished my degree in Biochemistry and Genetics from the University of Sheffield and I love Science. I have a passion for sharing my knowledge, owning a YouTube channel in which I make A Level Biology revision videos. Aside from academics, my main passion is Muay Thai (Thai boxing) and I train up to 10 times per week!! I hope to fight professionally one day. My favourite artist is Green Day.
