I achieved A* in Economics and A's in Biology and Chemistry in my recent A-levels. Unlike typical tutors, I've been in the student's shoes, balancing A-levels, a social life, and university applications. As a gap year student aspiring to study medicine, I'm here to guide you through this challenging journey. In Year 12, I faced initial struggles, earning E, D, and C grades in Economics, Chemistry, and Biology. But within 8 months, I transformed my grades in economics achieving one of the highest marks in the country. As a student I've overcome the same roadblocks, revision hardships, and academic pressures as you. Top grades require more than just content knowledge; they demand effective hard work. Luck plays a role, but it's essentially a mathematical probability principle. With strategic effort, you can tilt the odds in your favour, no matter what challenges come your way. My tutoring sessions are personalised to each student's needs. To ensure the most effective guidance, I ask students to provide specific instructions for our sessions. This way, I can tailor my approach . My tutoring philosophy is based on a series of books / research paper i have read on educational neurosciences of how to learn most effectively which i personally implemented thus i know work for the average student . Hello, my name is Frano, and I teach mathematics and physics at a lower level, GCSE, A-level(IB), and Higher Level. I have been tutoring maths and physics for AQA and Edexel entrance exams, and I also have experience with tutoring pupils from Primary all the way to the A-levels. Currently, I am working as a Head Tutor at the School of Mathematics. I am open to tutor students and pupils at any age level. I speak English language fluently, while the Croatian language is my native language. I am also open to teach coding and programming depending on the pupil's/student's level. My approach is very flexible, in a sense that depending on your needs, I adjust our sessions accordingly - whether you need to do drill tasks before the final exam, covering a whole topic, or solving advanced tasks. I am studying towards a Master's in Computer Science and I have completed an undergraduate degree in physics at the University of Leicester. I have been tutoring on platforms MyTutor, GoStudent, Superprof for three years now, and there, I have learned an optimal way of teaching pupils and students, depending on their needs. I have been involved in a lot of mathematics competitions, where I had to explain difficult concepts in a simple manner, so I have experience in explaining and helping pupils and students to describe complex ideas and tasks.

I’m a medical student with a passion for teaching Biology, Science, and Maths at primary and GCSE levels. Almost 10 years in higher education, I’ve learned two key things: 1) Every student can succeed with the right teaching approach, and 2) Learning should be active, using techniques like spaced repetition and active recall. I focus on breaking down complex topics, using examples, mnemonics, and past papers to help students understand. I’m patient and adaptable, always ready to find new ways to explain concepts if needed. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about sports, gaming, and tech. I’ve coached an under-15 basketball team and teach guitar at my church, which helps me connect with students and build trust to boost their confidence and performance. I graduated from Glasgow in 2020 with a 2:1 in Biomedical Sciences and am currently pursuing a medical degree.
