Hi, my name is Abia. I am a first-year university student studying Optometry. I am passionate about tutoring as I would like to help others by sharing my knowledge. I also like meeting new people and getting to know more about them. I like to make studying more enjoyable and easy to understand through step-by-step explanations and exam practice. My aim is to allow students to achieve a solid understanding in all aspects of a topic so that they can approach any exam questions with full confidence. I am a French native Civil Engineer in London, offering tutoring in French, Spanish, Mathematics and Physics. I hold a MEng in Civil Engineering (Hons) along with a French Baccalaureate ( equivalent of A-Level) in Sciences. I currently am open to teach students up to A-Level and also offer tutoring for engineering topics such as mechanics. I hold an MEng in Civil Engineering from City, University of London, obtained with a First Class. I specialise in topics related to engineering such as physics, structural mechanics, geotechnical engineering, electronics as well as a good knowledge and understanding of Mathematics.

I have just started university and I am eager to help my students in a supportive way with a dynamic based on mutual respect. Outside of my studies I love to watch football, go on hikes in the South Downs and read the financial times, as I am of course interested in any developments in markets. I went to Sackville School, East Grinstead and completed 12 GCSE's and one level 2 certificate in Further Maths, all at grade 7 and above. I then progressed to my A-Levels, achieving A*AAA in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Physics. During my time I also gained a Gold Certificate in the Senior Maths Challenge and participated in the Senior Maths Kangaroo, whilst also participating in the FCDO Next generation Economics essay competition.

Hello! My name is Abz, and I provide 1:1 GCSE and KS3 Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics tuition across all major exam boards (AQA, OCR and Edexcel to name a few). With over four years of tutoring experience and having achieved A* in A level Biology, Maths and Chemistry, I help students build confidence with a calm and patient approach, close knowledge gaps and improve exam performance with regular exam questions in our lessons.
