I now attend the University of Cambridge to study English Literature. I love both English and Maths, and studied both at A Level. In English, I enjoy reading into a text and finding deeper meanings to better understand the writer’s intentions and message. In Maths, I enjoy working through difficult questions, and using my problem solving skills to reach the answer. My hobbies include reading and writing, ice skating, and anything creative. I have worked with young people previously, volunteering as a Young Leader and, more recently, a Unit Helper in Girlguiding. I was also a reading ‘Super-tutor’ in my school’s reading programme, designed to help Year 7 students boost their confidence and skill in reading, meaning I would step in to cover for any tutors who were absent when they planned to meet with their assigned tutee, and I oversaw the running of the programme as a whole. Hi, I’m Seth Anderson, an enthusiastic and dedicated Math teacher. I am passionate about helping students explore the world of mathematics in engaging and meaningful ways. My goal is to make learning Math enjoyable and effective through interactive activities, real-world applications, and thought-provoking problem-solving that builds both confidence and critical thinking skills. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies and playing musical instruments such as the drums and guitar, which help me stay creative and energized. I graduated with a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, where I developed a strong foundation in mathematical concepts. With 14 years of teaching experience, I have refined my instructional strategies and classroom management skills. My background has equipped me to design engaging lessons, adapt to diverse learning styles, and create a supportive environment where every student is encouraged to succeed and reach their full potential.

I’m a Biomedical Science student at Lancaster University looking to tutor as a first step towards a teaching career. I have three younger sisters that have definitely taught me the value of patience. Despite my scientific background I spend most of my spare time reading, and doing arts and crafts. I have A levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology at st. Edwards college, where I also completed my GCSEs, I currently attend Lancaster University, studying a Biomedical Science bachelors degree. My specialisations would be Biology and Psychology.
