Hi, I am Libby, a final year Geography student at the University of Cambridge. I have been formally and informally tutoring A-level and GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Geography for about six years across a variety of age groups and academic abilities. Outside of academia, I love to play hockey and rugby, working hard to be awarded a Cambridge Blue in hockey. I attended the Newcastle Royal Grammar School where I attained an A* in A-level Geography and two grade As in Biology and Chemistry A-level. I remained at the school after my GCSEs where I attained nine grade 9s and one grade 8 across a wide variety of subjects. I am now reading Geography at the University of Cambridge, and about to begin my final year of studies. For my dissertation, I have recently completed a 7 week research placement at the Australian Institute of Marine Science where I contributed to a study which will increase Indigenous participation in reef monitoring across the Great Barrier Reef.

I'm an aerospace engineering graduate and my mission is to help make GCSE and A-Level Maths easier so you get the grades you need for your chosen sixth form or university (or any other path you may choose)! Hi! I’m an enthusiastic and approachable tutor with a real passion for helping students grow in both knowledge and confidence. Having achieved top results in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths at A-Level, completed an independent research project, and scored highly in the UCAT, I’ve built a strong academic foundation alongside effective learning strategies that I now pass on to my students. Over the past two years, I’ve worked with a range of learners at both GCSE and A-Level, tailoring my approach to suit different goals and learning styles. In my lessons, I focus on making learning structured yet engaging, using clear breakdowns of tricky topics, progress checks to track understanding, and step-by-step guidance through exam questions. I place a strong emphasis on active recall, spaced repetition, and regular exam-style practice methods that help students not only understand the material but also develop the confidence to apply it under exam conditions. A typical session often begins with a short exam question to consolidate previous learning, followed by quick knowledge checks to identify gaps, before building skills further with targeted practice. My aim is always to create a supportive, motivating environment where students feel challenged but also equipped to succeed. My academic journey began at the top grammar school in West Yorkshire, which instilled in me a rigorous approach to learning. This strong start led to me attending the most highly-regarded college in the area for my advanced studies. I am now in my first year, passionately pursuing an MPharm degree, a field where I look forward to applying my growing knowledge and making a meaningful impact.

I really enjoy sharing my knowledge and will put in all my effort to help you improve. I am currently studying towards a Masters in Astrophysics at UCL and achieved top grades at GCSE and A-level. I have experience in senior maths and physics challenges, entrance exams for universities and general exam technique and problem solving. In my free time, I mainly enjoy playing table tennis, however video games, drawing, learning languages (French at the moment) as well as TV/anime also interest me. I am originally from Lebanon.
