I am a 5th Year Medical Student and have been teaching for many years, I got accepted into grammar and have dedicated many hours to learning and passing on my knowledge. I teach 11+ and have proven methods on understanding the logic and ways to solve the questions. In addition I tutor Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Science, Geography and Maths. I have a keen interest in playing instrumets, learning a new language, keeping active and am currently a co-author on a pending paper to be published in the medical/surgical field. Hello! I'm Fintan, I'm a 2nd year student at Cardiff University studying Financial Mathematics (BSc) - Primarily a further development into the field of Maths, with some time spent learning about Corporate management and Investment Management. My teaching approach focuses on consolidating knowledge and encouraging critical thinking. To excel in A-Level Maths, it is important to not only know the content, but for it to feel like second nature, so that when it comes to higher level questions, you can identify and apply the methods confidently. I'm now building on the skills from A-Level in an undergraduate mathematics degree at Cardiff University. My best area in the A-Level Mathematics syllabus is Statistics.

I'm 22 and from Leeds. I've tutored maths for 4 years from Ks2 to A-level. I went from a grade E to A at A-level by finding a learning style that worked for me outside of the classroom and want to help more students do the same! In my spare time, I enjoy boxing and playing piano. I also love football (unfortunately a Man Utd fan!) I studied at the University of Leeds for 3 years between 2021 and 2024.
