been tutoring for over 4 years from primary school standard to IB standard. Hello all!! My name is Huma, and I am in my third year of MPharm. In my gap year after A-Levels, I volunteered at St Peter’s Hospital. I worked with patients, where I helped them work through their worries and concerns. I also was a lunchtime aid, where I helped patients who struggled with their eating. I have connections with successful medical school applicants, and have personal experience with the UCAT, as well as tips when it comes to acing it. I also know students in architecture, engineering and dentistry. Hi! I'm a student at the University of Bristol studying a degree in Mathematics and Physics. Studying maths at a degree level means I am constantly working with complex mathematical concepts everyday, and I plan to bring that depth of understanding when tutoring GSCE and A-level Maths. I have around a year experience in tutoring GSCE Maths, which has helped me develop a clear and effective teaching style. Also, having completed my A-levels during 2025 summer and achieving an A and also a grade 8 in GSCE Mathematics, I have a strong understanding of exam content and also effective advice for revision, ensuring student success in exams. I focus on breaking down hard topics into simple clear explanations , helping to build understanding, student confidence and also exam technique through practice. I have been tutoring with GoStudent for almost a year now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a current Sunday-School teacher and former volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I won several prizes during my degree, including three prize scholarships and the Roy Porter Prize for History in my second year. Prior to my degree, I took three A-Levels in History, Maths and English, receiving all A*s, and prior to that, ten GCSEs, receiving all 9s.
