I have 10+ years of teaching experience at school level, academies and online classes. To help my students out with their queries and bringing them out of grey zones is my utmost priority. My hobbies include working out, football and research. I believe that physical activity is very important for our mental health and it also helps us in making better decisions. On the other hand, I am constantly trying to research new studies and theories as learning is not restricted to a certain age group rather it is for all of us until we can still breathe. Hi! My name is Amy and I’m currently studying Maths and Philosophy at the University of Leeds. I am a Maths tutor aiming to help students between KS2 and GCSE level to enjoy and understand Maths. Beyond studying, I have a passion for dancing and love to perform on stage. When I am not dancing, I also love to solve puzzles and riddles. Initially, I attended All Saints Primary School. Then, I went to Greenbank High School and received 11 GCSEs with grades ranging from 7-9. I took a mix of GCSE subjects from Dance and Drama to History and Further Maths. After High School, I attended Runshaw College. I completed A-levels in Maths, Psychology and English Literature and earned grades AAC. I also completed an AS-level in Further Maths and earned a grade C. I am currently completing a BSc Maths and Philosophy honours degree programme at the University of Leeds. I have completed my second year and will hopefully be graduating in the summer of 2026.

My name is Karima! I currently study an Economics degree at Swansea University and achieved A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Economics. I have been tutoring for over 5 years and enjoy being able to transfer my knowledge to others whilst instilling within them why their education is so important. I attained 10 grade 7-9s at GCSE in Business, History and Drama, and progressed to study A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Economics. Hi! I’m Mehmood,20 years old and currently studying medicine (MBBS) at Hull York Medical School. While I absolutely love studying, I have many other passions that burn just as brightly: I’m into sports, gym, and cycling, and I’m always open to trying new ones! Some cool facts about me: I speak English, Pashto and Urdu. I attended St. Peter's RC High School in Gorton, where I studied separate sciences, business, geography, religious studies, and core subjects, achieving 6 grade 9s and 3 grade 8s. I then studied biology, psychology, and chemistry at Loreto Sixth Form College, earning A*AB in my A-levels. During my medical school application, I achieved a UCAT score of 2750 Band 1, securing four medical school interviews and ultimately firming Hull York Medical School—where I am currently studying medicine (MBBS). Alongside my academic journey, I’ve been a private tutor for the past two years, helping students build confidence and achieve top grades in science and math. I also completed a 3-week teaching internship at COOP Academy, delivering science lessons to Year 8 and 9 students. Additionally, I’ve gained valuable clinical experience working in GP practices and hospital settings, consulting with patients and developing strong communication and empathy skills. My educational background reflects a strong foundation in science and a passion for teaching. I’m excited to share the strategies and insights that helped me succeed and to support students in reaching their full academic potential.
