Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Joshua and I'm here to help your child master maths. I'm currently a 5th-year medical student with a passion for learning and teaching, and I'm actively working towards my ambition of becoming an Ophthalmologist, possibly practicing in the US. With over a year of tutoring experience, I have successfully completed almost 200 lessons with students of various ages and abilities, building a strong track record of helping them achieve their academic goals. Beyond maths, I also have valuable work experience helping primary school children with English as a second language improve their reading skills, which has further refined my patience and adaptability as an educator. When I’m not studying or tutoring, I lead an active lifestyle. I enjoy playing football, squash, and table tennis weekly, and I go to the gym daily for weightlifting and cardio. This rigorous and supportive environment is where I built the strong foundation that allows me to excel in teaching today. I achieved fantastic results in my GCSEs, earning a clean sweep of top grades: Grade 8/A* in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Maths, History, and Electronics. Grade 7/A in Spanish, Geography, English Literature, and English Language. This success continued into my A-Levels, where I secured an A* in Chemistry, an A in Biology, and a D3 (equivalent to an A) in History. Currently, I am navigating the exciting and challenging world of medicine as a 5th-year medical student at the Medical University of Sofia. My time in medical school—and my ambitious goal of becoming an Ophthalmologist—isn't just about science; it's about problem-solving, long-term focus, and breaking down complex information into manageable steps. I'm a fun and active individual that likes sports and other physical activities. Just started my second year in my degree apprenticeship in data science with Airbus UK and some of my favourite hobbies include: Basketball, Cricket, movies, travelling and gaming.
