Currently I am a teacher of Mathematics for secondary education, and I am also teaching adults as part of their CPD. When I am teaching, I use creative and critical thinking techniques to help my students to acquire in-depth understanding of fundamental concepts of mathematics. Part of my teaching consists of games, quizzes and other creative and fun activities that aim to make teaching and learning easier and more enjoyable. It is also important for me to help my students to learn how to solve word problems, which is a skill that students find hard to acquire. I enjoy walking, travelling, reading, sports and music. Hi! I'm Favour, I have experience tutoring students who are studying English language and Literature for their GCSE's. As a tutor I aim to breakdown questions & lessons to go along with the students' pace. During lessons I use the students interest to channel their learning & I am patient to ensure they get the most of the time. For example I once used a students' sports interest to breakdown the structure question in the AQA language paper 1 question 3. What I love the most about tutoring (apart from spreading knowledge of course) is getting to know, learn and see students develop. I love seeing wonderful personalities and interests come through, so I look forward to meeting you soon! Outside of tutoring, I am involved in marketing communications. In my spare time I like to watch movies, videos on dog grooming, skincare & perfumes, spend time with friends and bake (when I can).
