Hi, I’m Amaan—a 4th-year medical student at Keele with a passion for teaching. I specialise in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths at GCSE and A-Level. I am a medical student at UCL with a strong academic background, having achieved A* grades at A-level in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry. I have a genuine passion for teaching and enjoy helping students understand challenging concepts in a clear and structured way. Throughout my education, I consistently achieved high academic standards, particularly in Maths and the sciences. At A-level, I achieved 3A*, reflecting both my subject knowledge and my ability to manage a demanding workload. I also achieved full marks in my EPQ, which strengthened my independent research, critical thinking, and academic writing skills. This project required analysing complex information, evaluating evidence, and presenting clear, well-structured arguments—skills that are directly transferable to both medicine and teaching. As a current medical student, I continue to build on this strong educational background through rigorous study and application of scientific knowledge. Hi, I'm a 2nd year UCL medical student! For years now, I’ve mentored & tutored both GCSE and A-level biology for multiple specifications, as well as Chemistry, Maths, Geography, and English Language. I attended a girls grammar school, and also tutor the 11 plus exams! As someone who took and passed both CEM and GL 11 plus exams, I am happy to help with any. Also have engaged with science outside of school, completing a Women in STEM course run by the University of Oxford, and completing wider reading. I attended a Girls Grammar School until year 13, and am currently going into my second year at UCL medical school.
