Hi! My name is Fin, a passionate and friendly and I am currently studying for my Master's in Finance and Investment at Durham University, after completing a degree in Economics. I have always enjoyed helping others get to grips with tricky topics and building confidence in subjects they find challenging. I am patient, friendly and happy to explain things as many times as needed. I tailor each lesson to the individual student, making sure it suits their pace and learning style. Hi there, I'm currently in my second year of being a teacher in an International school, teaching Chemistry and Science. I have a Masters in Chemistry and a PGDE for teaching. I've tutored for a few years now and love it, especially making each lesson tailored to the specific student. Outwith my academics, I am a dancer and netballer. I also love to sail, cook, and travel abroad. - I teach GCSE and A Level Chemistry, as well as general Science for KS3. - I went through the SQA system at school, and have also taught Chemistry at National 5 and Higher level. - I also have a Dance Teaching Qualification and am in the process of completing a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) course

I'm a recent grad from Warwick University, while I was there I enjoyed playing dodgeball, going for hikes and learning the guitar. I look forward to seeing movies at the cinema and cycling on the weekends as well as visiting museums and galleries. I also have a pet cat. I completed a BSc in Mathematical Statistics (with Computer Science) at the University of Warwick. My course was intensive, covering broad areas of pure and applied maths, theoretical statistics, statistical modelling and programming. As many of my modules were geared towards data science, much of my learning culminated in an undergraduate research project in machine learning - exploring how machines encode information on the neuron-level.

I’m an experienced and approachable Economics and Business tutor with a strong academic background, including an A* and A at A-Level and current studies at UCL. I aim to make challenging concepts accessible and engaging, tailoring my approach to each student’s needs. I create a supportive environment where students gain confidence, critical thinking, and a passion for the subject :) I’m currently studying for a BSc Social Sciences at UCL data. I took A-Levels in Business Studies, Economics, and History, earning an A* in Business Studies, A in Economics and A in History. I achieved 9 GCSEs ranging from 9-7s, highlighting my commitment and ability across multiple subjects.

I am a Maths teacher with 3 years of experience. I studied Mathematics at the University of Reading, and earned my PGCE there too. I have worked with 3 GCSE classes to achieve their required grades in Mathematics and Numeracy. I am also able to teach A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, and have worked with one AS level class on their applied work in these areas. I studied BSc Mathematics at the University of Reading and achieved a 2:1 in 2021. I then went on to complete my PGCE in Secondary Education at the same university. I have completed a module at The Open University for my Masters in Education and will be completing the final module in the academic year 2026/27.
