I am currently a second year physics student at the University of Manchester. At A Level I achieved 3 A*s in Physics, Mathematics, and History, and I also achieved a grade 9 in Physics at GCSE level. My sessions are tailored towards GCSE and A Level Physics students, and are aimed at improving exam performance while also improving the student's understanding of the subject beyond simply memorising equations. I understand that every student's goals are different, and my lessons reflect this - if one method of teaching is not proving effective for a student I am able to adapt my lessons to be structured in a way that resonates with them specifically. My lessons are applicable to every exam board, but I have the most experience with the AQA specification at GCSE level, and the OCR specification at A Level. At A Level, I attained 3 A*s in Physics, Mathematics, and History. At GCSE I achieved a grade 9 in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and English Language. I achieved a grade 8 in Chemistry, Biology, English Literature, and History, and a grade 6 in Spanish. Additionally, I accomplished the highest total score in my sixth form for A Level Physics.

I enjoy mathematics for its logical structure and the creativity involved in solving unfamiliar problems. As a tutor, my goal is to help students understand the underlying concepts rather than focus on memorisation, fostering an enjoyment of the subject, and boosting their confidence in their abilities. With a BSc in Mathematics from UCL, I have a strong background in the subject. Having achieved A* in both A-Level Maths and Further Maths, I am confident in explaining topics such as algebra, calculus, trigonometry, and logarithms. MSc Mathematical Sciences - University of Bristol (2025 - 2026) BSc Mathematics - University College London (2021 - 2024) 2.1 A Levels - Holland Park School (2018 - 2020) Maths A* | Further Maths A* | Physics A* | Chemistry A* GCSEs - Fulham Cross Academy

Subjects : English, History, Religious Studies, Geography, Arts and Photography KS1, KS2, KS3 and GCSE. My name is Alicia and I'm 28 from Berkshire. I studied a Bachelor of Arts and since I have three years of experience working as a visiting practitioner/lecturer for BA students as alumni at my university. I also worked or Role Models as a course leader teaching life skills to children aged 3-15 across the world. I believe that every child is a different type of learner and their academic and personal growth is best when they nurture their individual passions. They are capable of learning anything , they simply need to be given the tools and skills to pursue it. Therefore it is vital for children to have dedicated mentors who support them through the different stages of their journey. I am passionate about demonstrating and encouraging students to explore, discover, and cultivate their strengths both academically and creatively. I am a Masters graduate and I studied a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and publishing . Since graduating I have had four years of experience working as an online tutor as well as working as alumni and a practitioner for first and second year BA students.
