Hi! My name is Luke, I study Chemistry at the University of Oxford and I offer teaching in Mathematics and Chemistry. I have just finished my first year at Oxford having achieved a distinction in Chemistry (which contains a huge Mathematics course). I'm a recent grad from Warwick University, while I was there I enjoyed playing dodgeball, going for hikes and learning the guitar. I completed a BSc in Mathematical Statistics (with Computer Science) at the University of Warwick. My course was intensive, covering broad areas of pure and applied maths, theoretical statistics, statistical modelling and programming. As many of my modules were geared towards data science, much of my learning culminated in an undergraduate research project in machine learning - exploring how machines encode information on the neuron-level.
