I am a university student studying Biomedical science in Nottingham. I enjoy studying Biology and chemistry. I will be tutoring Secondary biology and chemistry and also GCSE which I achieved A*s (8) in. I am passionate about studying and enjoy teaching others. I studied Biology and chemistry at Alevel as well as Maths. In GCSE I achieved A*s in both Chemistry and biology and I am currently studying Biomedical science at university, in my in my third year (out of four). I am currently achieving high marks at university and got a 1st overall last year so hoping to keep that up this year. I will be graduating in 2027 and hopefully go on to do a lot more work within Biology and chemistry. I am constantly learning new topics at university so I feel my knowledge is very good and I would have a good understanding about the biology and chemistry topics that students will query about.

I’m currently in my first year of Biomedical Science. I have a strong passion for the sciences, with an interest of sharing scientific knowledge with my peers and students. I have done my A levels Maths, Biology and Chemistry in the UK but I have a multicultural background as I moved from Italy. I used to spent my Saturday mornings teaching primary schoolers in Italy with additional learning needs. This choice was rooted by the fact that my own brothers have additional learning needs so that experience, combined with being multilingual (I can fluently speak in Hindi, Punjabi, and Italian), has shaped how I approach learning with patience making sure nobody is left behind. I want to become a tutor because it gives me satisfaction when I see students achieving their goals and see their self-confidence soar! I don't just want to teach subjects but I want to be a supportive part of their journey, helping them realize that no academic challenge is too big to overcome. I achieved my GCSEs (Maths, Physics, Combined Science, Philosophy, Latin, Italian Language and Literature, English, History, Social Sciences and PE) in Italy. After that I moved to the UK where I completed my GCSE in English language and Maths and an ESOL course at Tresham College in Corby. I continued my studies following my passion for the scientific subjects. I studied A level Maths, Chemistry and Biology, at the Corby Sixth Form, achieving a grade B in all three of my subjects. Currently I'm in my first year of Biomedical Science at the University of East Anglia. Additionally I also have completed an online course on careers available in the NHS and volunteered at my local hospital so I can provide mentorship for students interested in studying STEM degree and gain access in an health related career.

Hi I am Rhiannon and I live in sunny Glasgow but originate from Cambridge. I studied Criminology and Criminal Justice at University and I am soon to undertake a Masters in International Relations which I am incredibly excited about. I am an undergraduate student, studying English at University of Nottingham. I have experience with both young children and teenagers, and enjoy both making learning fun, and helping young people meet their full potential! Cycling is a passion of mine and as my skill in riding bicycles developed I was given opportunities to work with a few different bicycle companies. I was given bicycles and components in order to test their design and durability. I was also asked to preform in a number of marketing campaigns and advertisements for these bicycle companies. The learning processes in the physical arena and the academic arena are quite similar, they involve focus, critical thinking, repetition and study. These processes can be sped up to a certain extent if you have someone to guide you through them. I was also given the opportunity to teach bicycle skills to various groups of people and I really enjoyed this experience. I enjoy travelling and have lived for periods of time in Sweden and Spain.
