Outside academics, I am an optimistic, sporty individual. I have been playing American football for 6 years and counting, having the opportunity to represent Great Britain under 19s against Italy and France, and currently being on the adult roster to potentially play against Georgia and Spain. With such experiences, I volunteer frequently with my local club, London Blitz, and at Warwick University, which consists of mentoring and coaching, supplying me with the confidence to know I am capable of teaching individuals of all backgrounds, what I know. I find it very rewarding to be able to witness progression, knowing you played a role, and seeing how meaningful it can be for people. My education has predominantly focused on numbers, mathematics, science, and their applied usage, leading to the great opportunity of studying a Master of Engineering at the University of Warwick. During my 4 years here, I maintained a 2:1 grade while juggling sporting commitments. This degree enabled me to develop many skills and deepen my knowledge of the engineering industry, which makes me confident to tutor GCSE and A-level Mathematics and Physics. Before university, at GCSE and A-levels, I went to a local state school and managed to achieve a 9-9 in combined science and an 8 in mathematics at the GCSE level. At A-levels, I attained A*AAB in Mathematics, AS Further Mathematics, Physics, and Economics respectively, which was one of the best in the entire year.

For GCSE exam boards, I am strictly AQA only. My subjects and grades were the following: Mathematics (6), Double Science (6,6), English Literature (7), English Language (7), History (7), Music (7), Spanish (7), and a Level 1 & 2 TEC Award in Performing Arts (Distinction* = 9). For A-levels, I studied at a grammar school called Aylesbury High School. These are the subjects I took and the grades I got: English Literature (B), History (B), Psychology (C), and an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) on The Necessity of the Right to Silence and Diplomatic Immunity to the Criminal Justice System (C). Russian is still very widely spoken language in Eastern Europe and it could help you if you travel across many European countries. Therefore, I would like to help students to learn Russian and to prove that learning new languages can be a fun challenge. I have been teaching English online for over three-years now. This has included English as a foreign language and GCSE/ A level English literature and language. I graduated last year with a first-class degree in English literature and Language in Cardiff University and received a scholarship in my second year for being the best performing pupil in my cohort. English teaching has long been a passion of mine and my role has evolved to encompass academic writing support, something that I feel should be taught in school and is sought after by examiners across all exam boards. My students always achieve their goals through hard work, regular tutoring and lots of writing practice! I am currently a part-time Master's student of a TESOL and Education programme in Cardiff and my intention is to lecture this subject in the near future after my PHD. Alongside my own studying, I volunteer at an asylum-seeker charity 4 hours a week teaching adults basic skills such as digital literacy, English communication and life skills. I am also responsible for about 4 young learners who I have taught consistently over the last three-years. Please read some of my lovely pupils' comments about their online tutoring experience with me below: -

Hello! I'm a passionate fourth-year medical student at a leading London university, driven by a genuine love for learning and teaching, especially in Maths, Chemistry and Biology. Having navigated the GCSE curriculum myself and achieving top grades, I understand exactly what it takes to succeed and the common hurdles students face. My experience both as a student and a tutor have instilled in me a deep empathy and commitment to providing a supportive, student-focused environment. I thrive on breaking down complex ideas into understandable steps, helping students build not just their academic skills but also their confidence. As a fourth-year medical student at King's College London, I bring a robust academic foundation, highlighted by achieving all A star grades in both GCSE's and A-levels. This recent success, coupled with my medical training's emphasis on analytical thinking, directly informs my tutoring approach. I have approximately 50 hours of dedicated GCSE tutoring experience, including guiding a Year 10 student to significantly exceed their predicted grades. This is complemented by skills that I have developed through three years of working in retail, where I honed exceptional communication, patience, and problem-solving skills, all vital for creating a supportive and effective learning environment.
