Hi, I’m Brian Morgan, a passionate and dedicated tutor teaching Mathematics for GCSE and SATs students, as well as English for A-Level learners. I enjoy helping students build confidence and improve step by step by making lessons clear, engaging, and tailored to their individual learning styles. With previous tutoring experience and a strong ability to explain concepts in a simple and structured way, I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, overcoming challenges, and reaching their academic goals. I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying with First Class Honours from Liverpool John Moores University, where I ranked first in my cohort and received awards for academic excellence. My academic background strengthened my analytical thinking, numerical accuracy, communication, and problem-solving skills, which now support my teaching by helping me explain Mathematics and English in a clear, organised, and effective way for students preparing for important exams.

Hello! My name is Caroline and I am a native English speaker who grew up in New Zealand. I moved to Germany in 2019 to start my masters degree in performance music at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt am Main. I have always really enjoyed teaching music and through learning German as a second language, I realised my passion for languages and language teaching. I have been teaching English for a year and I am now working on an online TESOL course for English teaching. My hobbies include sports such as football, tennis and table tennis. I also enjoy origami and learning languages (I am working on a B2 certificate in German). My approach to teaching is to create a positive and interesting learning environment. It is my goal for students to enjoy their lessons so they are more likely to want to keep learning and to want to practice and improve themselves outside of lesson times. Associating positive energy and experiences to learning will be what keeps you motivated longterm. I am of course happy to discuss with students what they are looking to work on and set goals with them for what they want to achieve through these lessons. I think of myself as a very patient and positive person, so I can adapt to the speed/different paces of a student's learning without pressure or stress. I am also very interested in teaching violin/viola/music lessons if anyone is interested in these, as that is a huge passion of mine and is what I have been working on throughout my degrees. I look forward to hearing from you :) - Bachelor of music degree from The University of Auckland (New Zealand) - First Class Honours degree from The University of Auckland. - Masters degree from the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main (current). - B1-TELC German certificate

I am an English Intervention Tutor in a UK secondary school, with a BA in English with Creative Writing. I have a National Tutoring Programme certificate and I am also TEFL qualified. I have over two years’ experience of tutoring and over two years’ experiences as a TEFL teacher. I know that the road to higher education is not easy. In fact, GCSE and A-level years were really tough for me. I know things can be overwhelming at this level and I aim to do everything I can to help students along the way. With lots of hard work, I managed to achieve A*s in both A Level and GCSE English. I also achieved best in my year in my undergraduate degree. I would love to use the skills I have learnt to help students achieve the grades they want. I will personalise the lesson to you and your particular exam specification. I will do my own homework for each lesson, making sure I am familiar with mark schemes and set texts. For TEFL students, I take a personal approach, assessing your most important goals and tailoring lessons to these goals. I try to incorporate elements of reading, writing and speaking into each lesson. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, learning Spanish and watching football. I promise to be a reliable, hard-working and personal tutor.

During my secondary and high school years, I informally tutored my classmates, which not only honed my teaching skills but also earned me recognition from my peers and teachers. My music teacher notably remarked on my ability to teach, stating that despite being a learner, I made an excellent teacher. My classmates frequently praised my ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner, often preferring my explanations to those of their teachers. Hello there! My name is Rajvir and I am a former student who has studied Maths, Further Maths and Physics at A-levels. I used to be a student who had struggled a lot at the start of Year 12 (the start of my A-levels) and found it quite difficult to catch up at first. However, I was fortunate to be surrounded by a bunch of talented people too who were willing to help me learn. Through doing so/experiencing this, I've gained an insight into what it's like to be on the receiving end as a tutee. I've then used these teaching techniques of mine to help others around me improve and motivate them into striving to do better in Maths too. I find satisfaction and joy in knowing I can help make a tedious subject seem a tad bit more bearable and can help find the "inner mathemetician" in people I support. I generally tend to take a casual approach when teaching and work hard questions at the start after teaching basic concepts to find the weaknesses of those I tutor and have found this to be quite effective in the past!! I hope to be of great help and look forward to meeting everyone!! Raj :)
