Hi, Im Lia! I'm a second year psychology student at Loughborough University. Studying psychology, I am constantly learning about people and the way that our brains work both individually and together. This includes studying the most effective ways to learn and recall information. My AS and A-Levels consisted of 3 core subjects, so I have an array of expertise when it comes to exam technique. With my goal of becoming a secondary teacher, I am really looking forward to bringing my passion and enthusiasm to the virtual classroom. I already have a few years experience tutoring secondary students, so have discovered firsthand the best ways to engage and assist my students in whatever way they need. I am a strong believer in the importance of practicing exam questions and their structure when it comes to revision. Therefore within my sessions, I will discuss areas and topics that you may be finding more difficult, find a new way to explain it to you, and finally complete as many past paper questions surrounding the topic, to ensure that you receive all the marks, and therefore the grades that you deserve. I'm excited to hear from you! I studied an AS in Maths (Grade A), and essential core subjects at A-level: English Literature and Language (Grade A*), Psychology (Grade A*) and Biology (Grade A). I am currently studying BSc Psychology at Loughborough University, and once having graduated next year, am look to further my teaching career by completing a secondary PGCE in Science with Biology at University of Cambridge.

I am a University of York Computer Science student originally from Australia but now living in York! I enjoy working with young people and have worked in a wide variety of primary and high schools across the Leeds area. In my spare time, I enjoy playing on games on my Nintendo Switch and have even built my own computer! Completed my UK A-Levels in Computer Science, Psychology and Maths achieving AAB respectively. I enjoy Mathematics and Computer Programming. I am comfortable in tutoring Mathematics and English and engineering modules from basic up to undergraduate level. I have tutored kids with special needs and thus I have experience with varying teaching modules to suit diverse needs. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering and a Masters degree in Data Science from the University of Aberdeen. These studies have equipped me with adequate knowledge on the modules that they come with. I also have diverse experience with applying concepts from the modules.

I am currently a first year university student, studying PPE (politics, philosophy and economics) at the university of York. I successfully achieved straight As and A*s (7,8,9s) at GCSE, which led me to pick history, biology and Spanish at A level. I am particularly unique when it comes to Spanish teaching as I am a native speaker, being half Spanish, and having spoken the language from as little as I can remember. I sat my GCSE’s and A levels at Mayfield school, a boarding school for girls in East Sussex. After my a levels, I had successfully gotten into my firm and my insurance choice universities ( the university of Nottingham an the university of York). Both universities being Russel group, I ended up deciding to attend the university of York, here I currently am a first year studying PPE (BA)(politics, philosophy an economics).

Hi, I'm Caitlin! I am an English Literature graduate from the University of Sheffield. My degree in English has given me lots of knowledge, insight and passion for the subject. I am an experienced and reliable tutor, and in the past have tutored GCSE students who have gone on to achieve amazing grade 9s.
