Hi! My name is Tom, I'm a 23 year old History graduate with a passion for teaching and assisting others by utilising my extensive knowledge of various periods of history and historical topics. I have experience teaching in both primary and secondary schools. Hello! I'm currently a medical student in my 4th year of university. I've been tutoring students for a couple of years now and it's something I really enjoy! I've tutored secondary school students in Biology and Chemistry using a range of resources like PowerPoints, whiteboard activities and practice exam questions. Lessons are tailored to students to make them as interactive as possible and focussed on individual student targets, whether this be a focus on learning content, exam technique or revision tips. I'm also happy to answer any questions related to higher education following GCSEs, in particular for any aspiring medics! Currently a 4th year medical student. Exam Board Experience: I achieved 10 grade 9s/8s at GCSE, and have experience with AQA examinations for triple science, achieving grade 9s in all 3 sciences at GCSE. I have a grade 9 in higher tier Edexcel mathematics and A* in GCSE further mathematics. I continued Biology and Chemistry, as well as Psychology at A-Level, achieving 3 A*s.

Hi, I'm Shannon. I'm originally from Northern Ireland but I have lived in Scotland, France, Spain and now I reside in sunny Manchester. I have taught English, French and Spanish in Secondary Schools for the last few years. I believe that teaching cultural aspects alongside language is vital and I find that using music and TV are excellent ways to stay engaged with a language too. Let me know what you would like to work on or if you have any questions at all! I went to school in Northern Ireland where I got 6 A*s and 2 As. I then went on to study Spanish and French at the university of Stirling. After spending time teaching English in France and Spain, I did my PGCE training in Liverpool. I am also currently completing my TEFL certification at the moment. Other qualifications from my time at school include the Duke of Edinburgh awards.

I believe that a good education is an important part of opening doors into many different career paths. That is why I am working as a physics and maths tutor to help GCSE and A-Level students obtain the grades they want to help them pursue the career path they want. Outside of teaching I enjoy reading, mainly fantasy series, and some of my favourite series are the wheel of time and the stormlight archive. I also enjoy playing video games, both story-based games by myself and online multiplayer games with my friends. I have recently graduated from Durham university where I obtained a first-class honours Master of Physics degree, as part of this I completed a research project into leptogenesis as a solution to the problem of matter antimatter asymmetry. At A-levels I obtained an A* in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics as well as a B in French.
