I am a fully qualified Maths teacher, and have spent the last five years working in schools teaching Maths to students aged 11-18. I have spent the last two years as Assistant Curriculum Leader for Maths at a secondary school / sixth form in East London. Before teaching, I studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Oxford, from which I graduated in 2019. I have experience tutoring Maths at KS3, GCSE and A-Level, and tutoring Economics at GCSE and A-Level. Medicine reject at A-level who decided to pursue biomedical sciences instead to explore several career routes in science. Upon further exploration through experiences in healthcare, decided to give medicine one more chance as a postgraduate degree and recieved an offer from Oxford for medicine. Interests include music, gaming and travelling. Tutoring GCSE and A-level Maths and Sciences for over 4 years helping over 40 students achieve their dream grades with a mean result improvement of 2 grades. I also assist in UK medical school admissions tests, personal statement writing and interviews (Oxbridge included). My teaching style heavily revolves around putting methods to practise by attempting several exam questions during lesson time. The goal is to familiarise yourself with exam techniques to the point where exam questions do not startle you. After moving to the UK in 2015, I pursued my GCSEs which I completed in 2019, achieving five 9s, four 8s and two 7s with 9s in Maths and Sciences. I realised my passion for science and decided to pursue Biology, Chemistry and Maths for A-levels where I achieved 3A*s. After being rejected from medicine, I decided to complete a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at UCL, achieving a 1st Class Honours. During my degree I realised my passion lies in medicine and decided to try one more time by changing key parts of my application. Luckily, I received offers from Oxford and Warwick for Graduate-Entry Medicine.

I am a 22 year old who puts her heart and soul into her passion, which is teaching. I absolutely love people, interacting and getting to know people. I love being creative, whether it be planning my next lesson for a class or molding something with clay, I am always busy! I am a good balance between introverted and extroverted because I do treasure my alone time for some self care masks and watching a comfort movie. I love reading and spending time with friends and family. I always believe in staying kind because you never know what someone else is going through at home. I love sushi as well! It has most probably always been my favourite food! I am a fourth year student studying Foundation Phase education at Stellenbosch University. I have completed a 360 hour TEFL course, exemplifying my love for the English language. Hi there, my name is Callum Brennan, and I'm a student of modern languages at Maynooth University in Ireland. I've been studying German for the last nine years and have spent two semesters on a study abroad programme in Germany as a part of my degree. I tend to lean into more student lead forms of learning and will try my best to make learning german as interesting and fun as possible for everyone involved! I completed my primary and Secondary education in the greater Naas area in county Kildare. In secondary school I Studied German and Japanese as foreign language subjects as well as all the usual core subjects, Music, Engineering and chemistry. I completed my junior certificate in 2018 after receiving a german language award from Maynooth university, and graduated from Pipers Hill College secondary school in the summer of 2021. Since then I have been studying German and French as foreign Languages through a BA Degree programme in Maynooth University.
