Hi, I'm Savannah Stanislaus, I'm 23 years old and I am a recent graduate from the University of Oxford with a BA in German. Over the years, I've tutored a variety of subjects in both individual and group settings, including English at GCSE and A Level, as well as a foreign language, German as a foreign language and A level, Debating and Philosophy A level. My approach to tutoring is one that is personal and based on the individual's goals and learning style, but generally I like to frame the content in a way that feels relatable to what the individual may already be aware of and build from there. Many of my former students have wanted to focus on exams, so I've mastered the ability to interpret exam questions and mark schemes and then frame the demands in a way that is accessible to the student. I have been tutoring with GoStudent for a couple of months now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a former Sunday-School teacher and volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE.
