I am extremely passionate about Mathematics leading me to continue studying it to a higher level at university, alongside Economics. Having passed the 11+ and gotten into The Henrietta Barnett School, as well as having achieved a grade 9 at GCSE level, I have been in the shoes of all of my students. Therefore, I am able to understand the discipline required to achieve such outcomes and am willing to tailor my teaching style to benefit each individual. I am an uni student who knows the current exam boards very well also someone who strives to achieve the best for myself and others. I started to teach Spanish 3 years ago and my students have excelled in their grades which I take great pride in. I specialize in Beginners to GCSE students from exam boards of AQA for Spanish and Edexcel, CIE for Geography, but other exam boards are manageable I have completed courses in leadership and counseling therefore I am able to be great leader in my style of teaching but also caring. Hello, my name is Aasim. I am currently a medical student aspiring to one day become an orthopaedic surgeon. I went to secondary school and sixth form in London , after which I took a gap year and started Medicine at university afterwards. During my gap year I spent time working as an HCA at the Royal London Hospital as well as tutoring some of my family friends' children for chemistry and maths. I also spent a fair amount of time pursuing my own hobbies and interests such as drawing, reading, MMA and football which I try to play once a week with my friends. I like to incorporate visual aids in my lessons as I, myself, am a very visual learner. I also like to maintain a light-hearted environment when teaching my students, often employing humour during my lessons as I feel that it can make the student more relaxed and enables them to learn and absorb concepts in a stress-free environment. After covering a particular topic, I often go through questions together with students so that they can apply their knowledge in a practical setting which is what they will have to do in their exams after all. I have taught hundreds of students from around the world and really enjoy learning about their different cultures. I can also teach Social Sciences, and Spanish. I have a degree in International Development and have also lived in Costa Rica for over 15 years and speak confidently in spanish.
