I’m a 4th-year medical student who enjoys finding a balance between academics and creativity. When I’m not studying or working on university projects, I love going to the beach to surfing. I also enjoy being on stage and taking part in theatre productions, as acting allows me to express myself in a completely different way. In quieter moments, I like to dabble in a bit of art through painting and crafts, and more recently I’ve started learning how to crochet, which has been both fun and rewarding. I’m also an animal lover, especially cats in particular. I enjoy using my creativity most when it comes to teaching, finding ways to make learning easier and, just as importantly, enjoyable. I believe that learning is not just about absorbing knowledge but also about building a skill that you can use throughout life I attended West Buckland School from Year 7 to Year 13, between September 2016 and July 2022. In 2020, I completed 10 GCSEs with grades ranging from 6 to 9, including a 7 in English and Physics, an 8 in Mathematics, and a 9 in both Biology and Chemistry. I then studied A-levels in Biology, Mathematics, and Chemistry, alongside completing an Extended Project Qualification. Now I am a 4th year medical student.

With over 3 years of experience of teaching students from Year 7 to Year 12, I specialise in Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science at A-Level and Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics at GCSE. My lessons are always tailored to address each student's weakness, helping them build confidence, master key weaknesses, gain exam confidence to achieve the highest grades. I present content in an engaging manner such that they actually understand the value of the content they are learning. I make sure to maintain an encouraging environment for students such that they never shy away from asking questions, no matter how simple it may. Most importantly, I ensure that all knowledge is tested with exam-style questions to reinforce the points that an examiner looks for. One of my students in Year 10 was working at a grade 5 in Combined Science. Together, we worked over 6 months and were able to increase her grade to a grade 8 in her Year 11 Mock exams. I was born in London but raised in Barcelona, so I am fluent in English, Spanish and Catalan. I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Warwick. I enjoy going on walks, visiting historical sites, meeting friends, swimming, reading, and writing. I did a Spanish Baccalaureate in Barcelone, at Colegi Montserrat de Vallvidrera. I chose the Science baccalaureate, which included Maths, Biology and Chemistry, as well as History, English, Spanish, Catalan and Philosophy. Currently I am obtaining by BCs in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Warwick.
