Foundation Doctor recently graduated at Lancaster University Well-versed in engaging with teens and children through work experience in primary schools and volunteer work. Attained in GCSEs: As in Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Chemistry Attained in A levels: A in Maths, A in Chemistry, A in Biology I aim to be engaging and relatable for all types of students as I understand the challenges of achieving top grades in today's current school system. I believe anyone can improve their grades with the right support and I aim to provide this in full. I am a UK-trained foundation year doctor with a strong academic foundation and proven ability to teach, explain, and mentor at multiple levels, having been a tutor for 6 years and a tutee since I was 9. I achieved 2A*s and 1 A at A-level in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics, alongside9 A*s and 1 A at GCSE, reflecting consistent academic excellence and good understanding of core scientific concepts. This rigorous background allows me to break down complex ideas into clear, logical steps that are accessible to students. Through medical school and frontline NHS work, I have developed a practical, results-focused teaching style grounded in real understanding rather than rote learning. Daily clinical practice requires me to explain diagnoses, physiology, and management plans clearly to patients, nurses, and junior colleagues under time pressure—skills that translate directly into effective tutoring. I am particularly strong at identifying knowledge gaps, building confidence, and tailoring explanations to a student’s learning style. My approach emphasises clarity, exam relevance, and deep conceptual understanding, helping students not only achieve top grades but genuinely understand the material.
