I’m an Oxford Chemistry student who has achieved top grades in Chemistry and Maths. I love helping students build confidence and improve their results. I have experience supporting GCSE and A-Level students, focusing on making tricky concepts clear and approachable. My lessons are patient, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs so they can reach their full potential. Studying a Chemistry degree at the Univeristy of Oxford has helped me develop a strong academic foundation and deep subject knowledge in both Chemistry and Mathematics. I studied A-levels, achieving A*A*A in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. Before that, I achieved Grade 9s in GCSE Sciences and Mathematics alongside other subjects. Hey I am Si Yeun! I'm a PhD student researching heterogeneous catalysts, and I have 1 year of experience tutoring Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics for GCSE and below students. Having had some tutoring myself during my GCSE period, I know how much of a nerve-wracking experience it is for both students and parents. Also, I enjoy cooking and baking and coming up with new recipes and flavours, as well as sharing this to my friends; especially cakes! I'm currently a masters student at the University Of Birmingham studying chemical engineering. I have a strong passion for both chemistry and maths and i believe these supply the fundamentals for understanding how the world works and can be applied to any real life concept or problem.
