Hello! My name is Claudia , and I am currently studying Pharmacy at the University of Birmingham. I completed A-Levels in Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, which i have achieved three A grades in these subject .This gave me a strong academic foundation to tutor these subjects with confidence and clarity. I have around two to three years of tutoring experience, working with students of different levels and abilities. My teaching style is structured yet flexible, as I always adapt my lessons to meet the individual needs of each student. I specialise in simplifying complex concepts, strengthening problem-solving skills, and providing effective exam preparation strategies. Many of my students have not only improved their grades but also developed greater confidence and independence in their studies. Through my Pharmacy degree, I have further enhanced my analytical and communication skills, which I bring into my teaching. I believe that learning should be engaging, supportive, and motivating, and I work hard to create an encouraging environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and grow academically. Whether you are aiming to excel in Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics, I am committed to helping you reach your full potential and succeed in your studies. I have completed my A-Levels in Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, which gave me a strong foundation in the sciences and analytical thinking. During my time in school, I also achieved solid GCSE results across a range of subjects, further strengthening my academic background. I am currently pursuing a Pharmacy degree at the University of Birmingham, where I am developing advanced knowledge in health sciences, chemistry, and patient care. Alongside my studies, I have undertaken a variety of work experiences in healthcare-related settings. These include placements in hospitals and laboratories, where I was exposed to biomedical science, as well as experiences related to psychology and other medical fields. These opportunities have helped me broaden my perspective, improve my communication skills, and apply my scientific knowledge in real-life contexts. This combination of strong academic performance, higher education in Pharmacy, and diverse healthcare experiences has given me both subject expertise and the ability to connect my knowledge to practical applications. These experiences also allow me to support students not only in their academic studies but also in developing a deeper interest in science and its real-world relevance.

Hello! My name is Shruti and I have always been fascinated by technology and how it shapes the world we live in. I have a strong passion for mathematics and science. I enjoy the challenges of solving complex problems and finding different solutions, which strengthen analytical thinking as well as problem-solving skills. I believe this is very important because it helps us to understand problems better and enables us to break them down into smaller, more manageable parts, which is also very crucial to learn. This also allows us to evaluate options logically instead of just guessing. Alongside this, I love listening to music. Listening to different genres helps me to relax and stay motivated; it also enhances my focus, concentration and memory. For me, music also works by blocking out distractions and creating a very steady rhythm for the brain to follow, which further increases my level of concentration. I also enjoy learning different languages because I believe this helps with connecting to different people from diverse backgrounds. Cognitively, learning a new language strengthens memory, problem-solving skills, as well as concentration. Altogether, these skills helped me to build confidence and independence. Therefore, I became better at explaining new ideas clearly and in an easily understandable way. I also became better at learning new things and finding solutions quickly to different problems. This is extremely essential in fields like engineering and tutoring! Throughout my academic years, I have attended Queen Mary's High School, and after that, I attended Queen Mary's Grammar School for sixth form. Currently, I am a first year Computer Engineering Student at the University of Birmingham.During my school years and university so far, I have completed assignments, projects which have helped me to develop my analytical thinking skills and experience explaining difficult concepts easily. Furthermore, I have also done mentoring before in school, where I was teaching maths to a GCSE student, and this also enabled my skills to improve and gave me more experience of teaching.

Hi! I am a current medical student who enjoys and is passionate about learning. I am hoping to help develop a similar love for learning within tutees that motivates them to want to understand what they are learning. I specialise in tutoring mainly in Biology, Psychology, Chemistry, and Math. Having studied the IBDP, I understand the benefit of a good comprehension and understanding so that they can not just work through one subject, but also balance a multitude of subjects and extracurricular activities, especially as a busy secondary student. This will then provide them with greater critical understanding and knowledge to help them to get to where they want to be academically. I hope to get to know the student so that I can provide specific student-centred tuition that matches the style of teaching and learning as closely as possible to allow the student to learn and understand the material much more effectively and efficiently. Outside of learning to help wind down, I enjoy sports, particularly netball and football. As well as reading and listening to music. I studied the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) at school. Studying Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology at Higher level, and then Math AI, Spanish Ab Initio and English Literature at standard level. I achieved 40 points, including 7s in Math and Psychology, and 6s in the others. As well as an A in my world studies (Biology and Economics) extended essay on the treatment of Parkinson's Disease using Levodopa. I am an incoming 2nd-year medical student at the University of Aberdeen, and I passed first year with all A's, earning a distinction for the year. During the year, I completed a project on Delirium vs Dementia, also earning a distinction. I have also previously tutored some SEN students, including a student with autism and ADHD.

Whether you are looking to secure a strong pass in National 5 and GCSE or trying to conquer the advanced complexities of Higher and A-Level Chemistry, I am here to make the science click. As a BSc (Hons) Biological Chemistry and Drug Discovery graduate from the University of Dundee and a former Life Science Society President, I specialise in breaking down intimidating scientific concepts into clear, logical steps. We will move away from stressful, raw memorisation and focus instead on the core principles, helping you understand exactly why reactions happen and how structures work. Our lessons are entirely interactive and built around how you learn best. Utilising a laptop paired with an iPad and stylus, I turn our sessions into a live digital whiteboard. Together, we can sketch out organic reaction mechanisms, solve complex chemical calculations side-by-side, and directly annotate past exam papers in real time. This hands-on approach allows us to dissect actual exam formatting, decode tricky question wording, and build the specific exam techniques needed to maximise your marks. With professional experience in educational content editing and academic leadership, I provide a highly structured, resource-packed, and efficient tutoring experience. Above all, my sessions offer a collaborative, supportive, and zero-judgment environment where you can freely ask questions and build genuine confidence. Let’s team up, master the curriculum, and get you fully prepared to ace your upcoming exams.
