Hi! I am a recent Law and Politics graduate from Queen Mary University of London. I grew up in Pakistan but then moved to London for my studies. I'm currently a veterinary medicine student at university, slated to graduate in 2030. I have two younger brothers and have always been one of those strange children who enjoyed going to school for the learning, not just the fun. Outside of education I am a knitter, a crocheter, a badminton player, and an avid creative writer. I was involved in Scouts for two years and was part of the National Honour Society in high school, a society for students in American high schools that select members based on four pillars: academics, character, service, and leadership. I enjoy explaining things and hope to ensure that my students gain a greater appreciation of the subject matter, but I will settle for getting them through their exams if that's all they want. I attended CAJ, an international high school in Japan that following the American curriculum. I took 10 AP subjects, which are slightly narrower in scope but no less thorough in depth than A levels, and scored 5s (highest score) in all but English language, where I scored a 3 (pass mark). The AP subjects I took were Japanese, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Statistics, Physics 1, Physics 2, Chemistry, Biology, English Language and Comprehension, and English Literature and Composition.

Hello! I'm Sophie from Manchester and I teach Primary English and Spanish. I love teaching and I've been doing it for the past 3 years. My classes are fun, interactive and dynamic. I teach both children and adults and I love the variety. I can't wait to meet you 😀 I have experience teaching in both the UK and in Spain with students from 4 years old till 50 years old! I have worked for various different academies and tutoring companies. I am 21 years old and I am currently studying English Literature at Durham University. I absolutely love to travel and I am a qualified ski instructor and have done two seasons teaching in Canada and New Zealand. I am also a keen runner and I am currently training for a charitable half marathon. Additionally, I absolutely love literature! I am currently studying in my second year of my PhD in Forensic Science.
