I have been teaching English online for over three-years now. This has included English as a foreign language and GCSE/ A level English literature and language. I graduated last year with a first-class degree in English literature and Language in Cardiff University and received a scholarship in my second year for being the best performing pupil in my cohort. English teaching has long been a passion of mine and my role has evolved to encompass academic writing support, something that I feel should be taught in school and is sought after by examiners across all exam boards. My students always achieve their goals through hard work, regular tutoring and lots of writing practice! I am currently a part-time Master's student of a TESOL and Education programme in Cardiff and my intention is to lecture this subject in the near future after my PHD. I am a 22 year old who puts her heart and soul into her passion, which is teaching. I absolutely love people, interacting and getting to know people. I love being creative, whether it be planning my next lesson for a class or molding something with clay, I am always busy! I am a good balance between introverted and extroverted because I do treasure my alone time for some self care masks and watching a comfort movie. I love reading and spending time with friends and family. I always believe in staying kind because you never know what someone else is going through at home. I love sushi as well! My name is Rebecca and I am from South Wales, United Kingdom. I have experienced living in different places around the UK and I lived in London for several years, which was an amazing experience to meet people from international countries and learn many things about their culture and interests too. I enjoy cooking at home, as formally I have trained on the job as a professional chef, mainly in seafood/fish restaurants and Japanese cuisine. My name is Charlie and i would love to help you feel more confident in your efforts to learn english to a higher level. I will tell you a brief story of why i am an english teacher. I am originally from England. I have lived in England all my life and was born there , i have also studied in 4 different schools and one college also. I have also been working secularly since i was 17 in a joiners shop making furniture. Since covid began and my boss retired i started working as a handyman and being my own boss. Then I met a girl from Spain called Sora, we began talking everyday. Now we are married and living in Tarragona in Spain. Here in Spain i have been teaching English conversation. Helping my students by giving them practice in speaking lessons and culture lessons too. I enjoy teaching and have been doing so on donation basis in order to help my students. These lessons that i have been conducting have sharpened my teaching methods.
